Vodafone Foundation helps enable charities to harness the power of mobile technology to create a healthier Australia.

We call it, ‘power for good’.

We currently support leading heart and diabetes institute, Baker IDI, to increase awareness of the health risks linked to prolonged sitting, through a Smartphone app that gives Aussies a tool to reduce their sitting time and improve their health.

We also support the Hello Sunday Morning's movement towards a better drinking culture, through a three-year partnership to fund technology platforms and apps to empower Australians to improve their relationship with alcohol.

This follows our track record of helping charities such as beyondblue and St John Ambulance to create life saving Smartphone apps through our App Aid program.

Vodafone Foundation was established in 2002 and has donated more than $22 million to support the community. Highlights include helping to transform charities such as OzHarvest, Red Dust Models and Musicians Making A Difference through our 12-year World of Difference program. Vodafone Foundation Australia is one of 28 Vodafone Foundation’s around the world using mobile technology to make social change and improve people’s lives.

Vodafone Staff

Vodafone Staff

All hands on deck.

Vodafone Foundation empowers Vodafone staff to support our charity partners and charities they’re personally passionate about, through volunteering, matching staff fundraising and workplace giving.

In 2014/15 Vodafone staff ran, walked, baked, grew mo’s, wore PJs and more in the name of supporting charity, with the Vodafone Foundation matching over $200,000 in staff fundraising.

Three years to create big change.

In 2014, Vodafone Foundation made a three-year commitment to its charity partners.. To make the biggest possible difference to these programs, we won’t be taking on any other applications for funding or in-kind support in 2015/16.
