Vodafone Cover me Mobile insurance will help cover you against damage, loss or theft of your mobile phone, including replacement of your mobile and accessories, and reimbursement of some call costs.

Summary of Mobile Insurance benefits
Vodafone Cover me Mobile Insurance will help cover You against:

  • Damage, loss and theft of your handset by replacement or repair up to the value of $1700
  • Damage, loss and theft of accessories supplied with your handset at the time of purchase by replacement or repair up to the value of $100
  • Unauthorised Calls - by reimbursement of unauthorised call costs incurred up to a maximum of $500

Other important benefits of Mobile Insurance include:

  • Worldwide cover for up to 90 days per calendar year
  • Lost or stolen handsets will be replaced with a phone of similar specification up to $1700
  • If your handset is damaged, We will repair or replace it with a new or refurbished phone
  • Cover for other adults who You permit to use Your phone

What's excluded?
Loss, theft or damage will not be covered in some circumstances, such as:

  • any intentional or negligent loss, theft or damage
  • when Your handset is left in any unlocked vehicle or visible in any vehicle
  • when Your handset and/or accessories are not on Your person and are exposed to loss, theft or damage by failing to take reasonable efforts to guard against such loss, theft or damage
  • when Your handset and/or accessories are covered under warranty
  • if You have not paid Your premium
  • if You fail to take reasonable precautions against the loss, theft or damage

How much will Cover me Mobile Insurance cost?
You will be charged a monthly premium of $9.99 including GST.
This premium is payable one (1) month in advance and is debited to Your Vodafone account.
Premiums can change and You will be notified 14 days in advance of any change.

Policy excess (see exclusion 1)
All valid claims are subject to an excess fee which will be payable by You and will be charged to Your Vodafone account.

Claim limit
Up to three valid claims within any 12-month period.
