When you are working within 3G broadband coverage, you will on average experience much faster access and download speeds than dial up access speeds. Keep in mind various factors such as coverage, your location, your hardware and software, the source of your download and general network and internet traffic, which all may impact on actual speeds you'll experience.
Our 3G Broadband network
Our 3G Broadband (HSDPA) network currently covers metropolitan areas in Sydney, NSW, Central Coast, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, plus all major international airports in Australia. If you’re travelling outside 3G broadband areas, our GPRS network will cover 92% of the places people live and work in Australia. Please note, however, that you will experience considerably slower speeds when switching over the GPRS network.
Travelling overseas
Your Mobile Broadband connection works abroad, so now you can stay connected even when you leave the country. You can get online via our GPRS networks in over 70 countries, with a growing number of fast 3G and 3G Broadband (HSDPA) networks becoming available throughout Asia Pacific and Europe.
