Suzanne Davis

Capability Consultant: Organisational Development

I’m Suzanne and I look after the training for everyone in our offices. I’ve been here six months and love the trust everyone has put in me, to come up with a plan and then get on with it.

Out of all the places I’ve worked, when I walk in here I always smile as I know the people I’ll spend my day with will help keep that smile on my face. They’re creative and strong and we all believe that everything we do will make a difference.

I think I have the best job in the building because I manage all our community projects. There’s always a project that resonates with someone and inspires them to get involved.

I’m living proof of what you can achieve here. In just seven years, I’ve had four very different roles. Part of the reason I’ve stayed for so long is that Vodafone really supports your interests and you get to work with people all over the world. It’s fast paced and can be intense but we have fun along the way.

Compared to other companies, this place lets you take your initiative and make a difference. If you have a great idea, they will give you the opportunity to share your ideas.

I love the passion and energy that people bring to work and the personal commitment that they have to achieve the right outcomes for our customers and the people who work here.

Jack Watchorn

Team Leader : Customer Operations

Jack Watchorn

My job is to ensure my team has the skills and knowledge to provide a great customer experience. After many years in hospitality and retail, Vodafone was recommended to me by a customer. They had nothing but positive things to say and even offered to show me around the building. I’ve been here nearly 3 years now.

The moment you walk in the door you’re welcomed into the amazing culture and you feel instantly valued. The opportunities are endless and Vodafone has great programs in place to ensure you continue to learn and develop.

Vodafone has created the perfect balance between work and fun for its employees. It is not unusual to come to work to find everyone dressed in pyjamas. We like to celebrate the things that matter and recognise and thank our employees for their achievements. Vodafone is full of people who want nothing more than to see you succeed.

Head of Postpaid Finance

Jenni Taylor

I came over on a working holiday visa from the UK so I knew I would have to start off in a slightly more junior accounting position, but I didn’t mind. I’d heard such great things about Vodafone I was excited just to get my foot in the door. I knew if I proved myself I could be here for longer and I didn’t have to wait long.

In less than a year, I was promoted to Commercial Manager looking after $300m of back office cost. Today, I manage our largest revenue portfolio worth over $2 billion, in a head position. All that in just 4 years!

I feel incredibly privileged. They’ve nurtured and empowered me to be the best I can. I don’t think I would be where I am today if my path had turned out differently when I stepped onto Australian soil.

You’ll never meet such a tenacious group of people who pull together every day to take us one step closer to what we hope to be, one of the greatest recoveries of our time.
