To some it might appear that there is an art to successful interviewing. For us, we like to do away with the smoke and mirrors and give it a little commonsense and transparency. At Vodafone, we don’t prescribe to a strict number of interviews, we won’t ask why manhole covers are round, but we will ask about you and we will be genuinely interested. We believe that capable, intelligent people know what their next opportunity should be. You’ve been on a career journey, why wouldn’t you know what your next opportunity should be? Our goal is to identify whether we have the next career opportunity for you, and if Vodafone is the right place for you to succeed and really make a difference. Your place, your success, our success.
Interviewing for an opportunity changes depending upon what type of role you are interviewing for. Typically you will have a phone interview, a face to face meeting with relevant leadership and potentially some peers. For some opportunities we may ask you to present or prepare a small project, in others it may be a group assessment. In addition to assessing “what” you can do we are also interested in “how” you do it. We’re a value led organisation and believe your actions through being an individual help us to define who we are.
