A Balance Alert notifies you when you have reached a nominated dollar amount, which you can select once you log into My Vodafone, in the My Account section.

A Balance Alert allows you to monitor the usage and charges on your account and helps you control your spend.

$100 Balance Alert

We will alert you when your account balance reaches $100, then again when your balance reaches $150 and $200

$200 Balance Alert

We will alert you when your account balance reaches $200, then again when your balance reaches $250 and $300


Once set-up, we’ll notify you with a TXT message whenever you exceed your nominated Balance Alert amount. Available to Postpaid customers only.

Important Information

1. Balance alerts monitor your account balance and consist only of charges that have been processed at that point in time. Balance Alerts include all billed amounts which haven't yet been paid and unbilled amounts which fall outside your plan such as data charges, premium SMS and dlobal roaming charges.
2. Whilst most charges are updated and form part of your account balance within 4-24 hours of the charges being incurred, there can be a delay in processing charges for third party services such as international roaming, downloading data and applications and using premium services. International roaming charges can take up to 60 days to process. This means that the Balance Alerts that you receive are as up to date as they can be based on our records at that time but may not contain all charges that you have actually accrued at that point.
3. Your overall account balance will increase as the usage or charges are incurred and will decrease upon payment or adjustments.
4. GST charges are generally included in all billed charges but not in unbilled charges.
