If you've recently transferred your connection from 3 to Vodafone, there are a few things we need to tell you to make the move to Vodafone as simple as possible. These include info about how to pay your bill, and other subtle differences you will notice on your new monthly bill.
It's important that you pay your final bill from 3. If you pay it by direct debit, there's nothing more to do. 3 will debit your bank account or credit card as usual on the due date.
If you're paying by any other method, please refer to the payment slip details on your 3 bill.
If you provided your direct debit details in store, or requested to transfer your existing direct debit details, there's nothing more to do. We'll debit your nominated bank account or credit/debit card on or shortly after the due date
If you pay by any other method, please refer to the payment slip details on your Vodafone bill. This includes updating your regular payments like BPAY with the new biller code and BPAY reference number.
You will always receive the full value of your entitlement once GST is calculated. The charges listed on your Vodafone bill are calculated exclusive of GST. A single charge of GST will be shown on your bill for charges and discounts that are applicable for GST.
For example, if you are on a $49 Cap plan, you will see a charge of $44.54 in the monthly plans & services section. You will also see the GST value of $4.54, which together equals $49.
Likewise if you have entitlements of $450 of included usage, then this will display on your bill as $409.09 exclusive of GST. Your usage rates are also calculated in the same way.
If you're new to Vodafone, or change your rate plan, you are charged your monthly charges from the day you connected to when your bill is issued on a pro-rata basis, plus your usual monthly charge in advance.
This means, if you join today and your first bill is due to be issued 5 days from now, you'll see a "Part Monthly Plans & Services" charge for the first 5 days. You'll also see your usual monthly charge in advance as shown under "Monthly Plans & Services" on your bill summary. Refer to the date periods that apply to your account.
If you've used more than your entitlements, or other services not included in your plan entitlements, costs for those services will appear in addition to your usual monthly charge.
