While mobile communication provides many benefits, including convenience, flexibility and personal security, it can sometimes be intrusive to others. Thoughtful use of your mobile - or in other words correct mobile phone etiquette - is important both in considering others and helping to keep you and those around you safe.
Our Mobile Phone Etiquette leaflet outlines a range of situations in which mobile phone etiquette comes into play.
We recognise that some people are using mobile devices to bully others by sending insulting or threatening messages. We encourage customers to prevent bullying by protecting their number, not responding to bullying messages and when necessary turning off their phone. Vodafone can assist customers to report bullies to authorities and where possible to set blocks or number changes to prevent continued bullying.
