How does it work?

In the event you're not satisfied with your network experience, here's some information on what to do:

Call our Customer Care team on 1300 55 11 98 within 30 days of you commencing your contract.

If we can't resolve your concerns we'll start your claim and send you an email confirming the authorisation of your contract cancellation. We'll also let you know of the nearest Vodafone retail store where you will need to return your phone or modem within 10 business days of making the claim.

Remember to bring along the packaging and equipment it came with, along with your purchase receipt.

If you're transferring your number to another carrier your contract will be cancelled from the date you have both returned your phone or modem (and all packaging/equipment) and you have successfully transferred your number.

If you're not transferring your number, cancellation will take effect after your phone or modem and all packaging/equipment has been returned.

  • These terms and conditions apply to personal accounts and business accounts with up to 5 connections - different terms and conditions & eligibility criteria apply for business accounts with more than 5 connections - call 135888 for details.
  • Offer may be withdrawn at any time. Available to approved postpaid customers.
  • Excludes separate Mobile Payment Plans.
  • Claims must be initiated by calling Customer Care on 1300551198 within 30 days of contract commencement date to be eligible.
  • Device(s), original packaging and equipment must then be returned to a Vodafone retail store (not Dealer) within 10 business days of making that claim (proof of purchase must be provided & device(s) must be in re-saleable condition).
  • Min monthly spend (comprising monthly access fees for plan & device fees for device purchased through plan) & any insurance will be pro rated up to the date cancellation is finalised.
  • All incurred excess usage charges or charges for excluded services will also be payable.
  • *Cancellation will be finalised on the date the in-store device returns process is complete unless you are transferring your number to another carrier, in which case cancellation will be finalised once the in-store returns process is complete and you have successfully transferred your number.
  • Accessories will not be refunded. If you elect to keep the device(s), the cost of the device(s) will be charged to your final bill.
  • For customers who purchased a modem outright on a Month to Month mobile broadband plan, the purchase price of the modem will be refunded upon return.
  • If adding an additional service to your account, the Vodafone Network Guarantee only applies to that new service and not to any existing services on the account (unless those existing services otherwise meet the eligibility criteria).
  • Any Vodafone provided credits applicable to your account will not be refundable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash if you claim.
  • The Network Guarantee applies to a max of one mobile and one mobile broadband claim per person per year but does not affect any other rights or remedies you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Vodafone Pty Limited ABN 76062954554.
