The HTC One is ready to reshape your smartphone experience. This is the 2013 flagship from HTC, and it promises some incredibly innovative features. Let’s start with its sleek aluminium body. It took 12 years to perfect and results in a zero gap construction. But of course, what’s an impressive body without the goods on the inside? This is where it gets really exciting.
The HTC One features BlinkFeed™ – a completely new live home screen that displays important updates that are personalised to your life. It’s impressive UltraPixel Camera puts you in control with better imaging options and the ability to capture 300% more light.
New HTC Zoe™ brings your photos to life by automatically capturing up to 20 photos and a 3 second video every time you press the shutter – turning your photo album into a living, breathing gallery. And of course, just by looking at it here you would have noticed that the HTC One also sports not one, but two front speakers. This is known as HTC BoomSound™, and it promises bigger sound, more detail and less distortion thanks to its built-in amplifiers.
It also gives you access to the new super-fast Vodafone 4G network on one of our 4G plans and when you are in our selected major metro areas of Sydney and Perth, with some coverage in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong.
If this hasn’t blown your mind by now, then read on. Because this must be the smartest smartphone we’ve ever encountered.
Pick the social networks, news and feeds that you like, and HTC BlinkFeed™ brings them all to the one screen on your phone. Friends, photos, posts, calendar events, sports teams, music and news. The possibilities that you choose are endless.
If you’ve ever wished your photos could jump to life then HTC Zoe™ is for you. It lets you shoot high-res photos in 3 second snippets to create a moving album. Better still, you can automatically have your Zoes combined to create mini films featuring professionally designed cuts, transitions and music.
This could be the best TV invention since the TV itself. Sense TV on the HTC One lets you change the channels on your TV, access program guides, adjust the sound and do so much more. You can even find your favourite shows and make it notify you when they’re on – and there’s no subscription fees for this service.
Remember that time when you were trying to talk on the phone in a crowded, noisy place? You weren’t the only person annoyed by that time, and HTC have done something about it. Sense Voice on the HTC One detects loud background sounds using its dual microphones and dynamically boosts your in-call voice to compensate.
