    Listening Post is an application that shares what's currently playing on your iPhone/iPod or Android mobile with your social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

    If you have music playing on your iPhone/iPod or Android mobile, launch Listening Post. It will display the song title, artist and artwork (if available) for the track that is currently playing (or has been paused). To post these details to your Facebook, Twitter or MySpace account, you need to link those accounts to the Listening Post app. Once that's done, toggle the sites on and off depending on where you want to send the details, and hit POST!

    Yes. Listening Post doesn't create social network accounts for you, so you'll already need to have an account setup with the site you want to post to. By clicking on Social Settings from the menu of the Listening Post app, you can link the app to your existing accounts as a one-time requirement. You can unlink these accounts on the same Social Settings screen if you want.

    Who2Call is an application that allows you to see who in your contacts is on the Vodafone network, and who is on the 3 network. That makes it very easy for you to identify which of your mates on Vodafone and 3 in Australia you can make free unlimited voice calls to. The app verifies each contact's network and regularly updates their 'free-call' status so you can see who's on the network.

  2. 2. What happens if I call someone whose number is showing as connected to Vodafone or 3, but has ported out since the last update?
    If you call someone who has transferred their number to a non Vodafone or 3 network since the last update, you may be charged according to the rates in your cap or plan. This is because they no longer qualify for free unlimited standard voice calls to Vodafone and 3 numbers in Australia. If you think you have been charged incorrectly, please call customer care on:

  3. 3. Do I need to be on a particular plan to access Who2Call1?
    No, to use Who2Call, all you need is a handset that can download and run the app. To enjoy free unlimited voice calls to your mates on Vodafone and 3 in Australia you will have to be on one of Vodafone or 3's new contract caps starting at $29 per month2. If your plan doesn't include this, just call customer care and discuss your options for upgrading.

  4. 4. How often does Who2call update my contacts?
    At the moment, contacts are updated once a week on Sunday evenings. We are currently working on a way to update contacts even more frequently.

  5. 5. Do I get charged for data usage each time the application updates?
    No, any data the application uses to update your contacts is free, and doesn't affect your data allowance in your plan.

  6. 6. Is the application free to download?
    Yes, if you have an Apple® iPhone®, you can download the application from Apple® iTunes®, or if you have an Android™ phone go to the Android Market™ or Apps Central.

  7. 7. Does this mean I can call anybody for free who shows on my list as being on Vodafone or 3?
    In most cases yes, so long as unlimited standard voice calls to Vodafone and 3 numbers in Australia js a feature of your plan. You should remember that the app itself doesn't enable these calls � it only shows you who is on your network so that you can identify who you can call with this feature. Check first, because if your cap or plan doesn't include unlimited standard voice calls to Vodafone and 3 numbers in Australia, you will be forced to pay standard call charges for any calls you make from this app � check your Plan for more details.

  8. 8. Can my friend on Telstra download the app?
    Yes, if they have a compatible handset, they'll be able to download the app for free, although it will have limited functionality and they will not be able to see who is on the VF or 3 network.

  10. 10. Can I call friends on Crazy Johns, AAPT, or other Vodafone providers for free?

    The two most likely reasons for this are:

    • 1. That person ported to another network (not 3 or Vodafone) since the last application update.
    • 2. Your current cap does not allow you to make free unlimited voice calls to your mates on Vodafone and 3 in Australia.

    Celebrity Charts delivers real time content from the internet, so that you can find out what is being said, and what people think about celebrities.

  2. 2. How are the charts created?
    Charts are built in near real-time using data that is sourced through a state-of-the-art search engine. The app looks for celebrities in certain categories and where they are being talked about on the web, catching hot topics as they appear. We look at sources like blogs, news, and social media sites to hear who people are talking about and build a chart so that it's relevant to what's happening now.

  3. 3. What's the difference between Chart Position and Chart Movement?
    Chart Position is the current position in the Top 10 chart, based on popularity derived from our online sources and data feeds. Chart Movement measures the number of places that a celebrity has either risen or fallen in the displayed period of time, showing who is moving up or down the charts the fastest.

  4. 4. Why do obscure people come up sometimes?
    You'll find that sometimes the people who are somehow related to a top trending topic or celebrity will start to come up in the charts, simply by association. If a certain person is mentioned often enough, whether they are the intended subject of the content or not, they'll start to chart for a period of time.

  5. 5. Why can't I see a main image of the celebrity sometimes?
    Sometimes we're unable to locate an image for the celebrity prior to them appearing in the chart. We are notified each time a celebrity appears in the charts, but doesn't have a chart headshot, then we source an image for next time.

  1. 1. What is Fan.Cards?
    Fan.Cards is a music discovery application, providing you with an innovative way of finding and storing music content on your iPhone/iPod. Artists are collected and organised in the application as "trading cards", with each card providing you with in-depth and rich media content on the selected artist. The application collects media and content from social web sources, such as Last.FM, Flickr and YouTube, as well as recommending new music through previewing new cards for artists that are similar to the ones you already have.

  2. 2. How do I view and manage my collection?
    Viewing the cards in your collection can be done in a number of ways. The "collection" view changes depending on how you have your device orientated, and shows you the "Top Deck" of cards (always limited to 10 cards at a time). Your full list of cards can be seen in the "Archive" view, and you can move cards between the two categories. When looking at your Top Deck, press a card to popup the card menu to access actions such as Open, Archive, Share and Delete. When looking at your Archive list, select a card from the list to open it.

  3. 3. What's included on my Fan.Card
    A card contains a number of areas of content, including biographies and pics, video and iTunes links. There's also a list of related artists and the ability to download cards for them as well. To return to your collection from viewing a card, you can click "Collection" in the top left of the Info screen of the card.

    To get more cards, you can use the Search feature to find artists that you like, or scan in the code that can be found in the card content. Stay tuned for more options coming in the future, such as sharing via Twitter and Facebook.

    When you tell foursquare where you are, that's called "checking-in". You can check-in from parks, bars, museums, restaurants...or anywhere. When you check-in your friends will know where they can find you and you'll be awarded points and badges based on your adventurousness.

    The foursquare apps for iPhone, Blackberry and Android use GPS to show a list of nearby places. To check-in, just choose the name of the place you're at from this list of nearby places.

Some bars and cafes now offer "Mayor Specials" - a free coffee or appetiser or maybe a special discount to the mayors of their venues. Watch out though - if someone else comes along who has checked in more days than you, they will steal the "Mayor" title back from you.
