Want to Change Plans?

Changing Contracts

  1. You may change from your Contract to selected Contracts with a higher minimum monthly spend at any point during your commitment period without incurring a Contract change fee. Once you request a change, and it is effected by us, you have accepted the new terms of your new contract.
  2. You have the option to change back to your original Contract without incurring an Early Exit Fee or Plan Change Fee.
  3. If you change to selected Contracts with a lower minimum monthly spend during your commitment period, you will incur a Plan Change Fee. Click here for more details.
  4. You may only request to change your Contract once per month and the plan change will be effective from your next monthly billing period.
  5. You may change Contracts without restarting your commitment period. If you change plans, you will not be eligible for additional mobile discounts.

When changing from a Contract Plan or Cap to any other Contract Plan, or Cap, any free service (minutes, TXT, IOYM, etc.) and / or any discounted call and TXT rates (or any other reduced rates) as well as any unused credit from your previous Contract are forfeited immediately.

An Early Exit Fee applies when, during your commitment period:
- you move out of your Contract to On Account (month to month) or Prepay.
- you disconnect from the Vodafone network.

For Vodafone Caps, Internet Caps, iPhone Caps and Sim only Caps your Early Exit Fee is calculated as 100% of miniumn monthly spend x months left in the contract term. For Plan Contracts, your Early Exit Fee is calculated as 50% of minimum monthly spend x months left in the contract term. Please note that if you are connected to $29 Vodafone Cap you will also need to pay, in addition to the Early Exit Fee, the Handset Early Exit Fee of $14.50 x months left in the contract term. You will also be charged for any handset repayments and additional or excluded service costs.

Changing Month to Month Plans

When changing from a Month to Month Plan or Cap to any other Month to Month, Prepay or Contract Plan,or Cap, any free service (minutes, TXT, IOYM, etc.) and / or any discounted call and TXT rates (or any other reduced service rates) as well as any unused credit from your previous Month to Month are forfeited immediately.

Changing Prepay Caps Or Plans

You can change Prepay Caps or Plans whenever you recharge. So if your needs change you can change your Prepay Cap or Plan to suit. That way you always get the most out of your mobile. Just remember to recharge within your expiry period.

  1. When changing from the Night Talker, TXTer, Talker or 365 Days Value Plans to any of the other Plans, you keep and accumulate unused credit. When changing from the Night Talker, TXTer, Talker or 365 Days Value Plans to any of the other Prepay Plans (except for Jumbo/Maxi/Super/Mega Cap) you keep and accumulate unused Vodafone-to-Vodafone minutes.
  2. When changing from any of the Prepay Plans to the Jumbo/Maxi/Super/Mega Cap, anything carried over must be used within 30 days or before the next recharge.
  3. When changing from the Talker Value Plan to any of the other Prepay Plans, great call rates are forfeited and standard call rates are applied to your entire account balance.
  4. When changing from any of the Value Bundles to the Talker Value Plan, great call rates are applied to your entire account balance.
  5. When changing from Prepay to On Account or Contract, all remaining credits in your account balance will be cancelled.
  6. When changing payment methods, you may be required to purchase a separate SIM card at a participating Vodafone store or dealer.
