We’ve made getting started with Vodafone Prepaid easy.
To begin, you’ll need a Prepaid Starter Kit and any Vodafone Prepaid Recharge for credit. If you don’t already have these, you can make an online purchase.
Alternatively you can visit us in store or go to one of 20,000 outlets across Australia including supermarkets, newsagencies and service stations.
What you’ll need to activate your Vodafone Prepaid SIM.
Step 1
Place your SIM into your phone, then switch it on.
Step 2
Have these documents handy.

Your unique details found in your Prepaid Starter Kit (this can be located on the page where your SIM was attached)

Valid form of ID (Australian driver licence, passport, or birth certificate)
Step 3
Activate your SIM.
Activate online or call 1555 from your mobile to activate over the phone.
Need to bring your existing number across?
Once you’ve activated your Vodafone Prepaid SIM, you can port your number online by answering a few questions and just a few clicks or by calling us on 1555.
