Roaming for Postpay

We have two different roaming plans to choose from – Vodafone Traveller and Vodafone World. Because we want to pass the best deals and rates on to you, the plans have different benefits depending on which country you’re visiting.

Roaming for Prepay Caps

Use your mobile overseas with Vodafone Traveller – there are no surprises waiting to meet you when you arrive home, because your spending is capped. You can even recharge while abroad.



Roaming for Prepay Plans

Use your mobile overseas with Vodafone Traveller - calls are charged at your standard at-home call rate, plus a zone charge based on what part of the world you’re in. Both charges simply come out of your plan value.

As well as being able to make calls overseas, you can access other Vodafone services like voicemail and send and receive TXT messages in most countries. And if you have a compatible handset, you can also use data services such as Vodafone live!, e-mail and PXT®, your BlackBerry® or Vodafone Mobile Broadband device (data card or USB modem).

24 hour customer care priority service for roamers

Whenever you dial +61 414 141 414 or the short code 1555* (from your mobile) whilst abroad at anytime of the day or night, you will be treated as a priority customer and will be forwarded to the top of the queue. This means your call will always be answered by one of our call centre staff and you will never have the inconvenience of hanging around waiting.


*1555 short code (dialled from your mobile) may not be available in all countries overseas. In the alternative, dial +61 414 141 414.

Coverage in most countries is generally of a high standard, however reception may be unavailable or interrupted due to terrain or handset quality. TXT and other services are not always available in every country.
