Vodafone World is our default roaming plan for using your phone overseas. With Vodafone World, we divide the world into five zones, each with its own rate. You're charged the flat rates anywhere in that zone for standard calls, any time of the day or night.

Note: roaming costs are not included in Month to Month or Contract Caps and Plans and will incur an additional charge on top of your included value. These rates apply to standard calls & TXT and toll free numbers outside Australia. Charged in 30-second increments (with a 60-second minimum duration).

  • Calls to 123 and 1223 are charged at $2.60 per minute plus the applicable "calls made to Australia" rate 
  • Calls to 121 and 1555 are charged at the applicable "calls made to Australia" rate 
  • Call to numbers advertised as "Free Call" numbers within the country you are visiting, are charged at standard rates for calls to that Country.

Once you have done this, it’s automatically ready to use, every time you travel.
