Vodafone Traveller is great for using your mobile when you're travelling overseas. Staying in touch won't put a dent in your travel budget because all roaming charges are including in your Flexible Credit of your Flexi Cap.

We’ve split the world into four zones, each with a different price structure. Just turn on your mobile and we’ll automatically find the right network for you, whether you stay in the same country or travel further afield.

Customer Care is available 24/7 and costs the same as a normal overseas call. And the best news of all is that Vodafone Traveller is free to set up and costs nothing until you start using it.

Where you can call and TXT from

These are the countries you can call from if you have a Prepaid Flexi Cap. We’ll add more as they become available.

Stay in touch

The standard call rate (that you pay at home) and your zone charge (based on what part of the world you’re in) all comes out of your Flexible Cap value. For example, if you have a $49 Prepaid Flexi Cap and travel to New Zealand (zone 1), you can use your $350 Flexible credit to make 65 minutes of calls back to Australia.

Charged in 60 sec increments with a 60 sec minimum duration. These rates apply to standard calls, TXT and toll free numbers outside of Australia. Calls to 123 are charged at $3.50 per 60 seconds plus the applicable "Make a call" rate in the table above, plus a $3.50 connection fee. Calls to 1223 are charged at 88c per 60 seconds plus the applicable "Make a call" rate in the table above, plus a $2.60 connection fee.

How to activate

If you already have international roaming activated on your account the good news is you don’t need to do anything to set up Vodafone Traveller. However, if you’d like to use your voicemail overseas, call us on 1555 or visit My Vodafone. Once you’ve done this it’s automatically ready to use, every time you travel.

To manage your roaming settings call us on 1555 or visit My Vodafone. Remember to do this a few days before your travel.

Recharge

Be sure to top up before you travel. That way you’re never caught short while you’re away.

There are two easy ways to recharge:

1. Via your registered credit card or PayPal account. Use your credit card or PayPal account to recharge.

2. Recharge cards can be purchased before you go & loaded up while you’re overseas, just call 1511. Use the same easy quick-dial numbers you do in Australia, so you can check your account balance easily (1512).
