Using Voicemail, 123 & Other Services

As a global company, Vodafone makes it easier for you to stay in contact while travelling overseas. You can use your Vodafone services including voicemail, Customer Care, Directory Assistance and 123 on many networks around the world.

On many Networks, your short code* numbers remain the same. For example,

  • 121 for Voicemail (or +61 414 121 121)
  • 1555 for Customer Care (or +61 414 14 14 14)
  • 1223 for Directory Assistance (+61 414 123 123)
  • 123 to answer all your questions (or +61 414 123 123)

*Short code numbers (dialled from your mobile) may not be available in all countries overseas. Click here to check if short codes will work in the country you’re travelling to.

Setting up Voicemail

If you would like to use your voicemail overseas, just call us on 1555^ to activate it. Once you have done this, it’s automatically ready to use, every time you travel.

In most countries you can still dial 121 to retrieve your voicemail. However in others you may need to dial +61 414 121 121 and enter your voicemail pin code. You’ll receive a welcome TXT (free of charge) when you arrive at your destination, letting you know if the 121 quick dial number is available.

Make sure you write down your Voicemail pin code if you can’t remember it. If you’re unsure what it is, call us on 1555^.
