We've put together this quick guide to help you choose the perfect tablet.

With Vodafone, many of our Tablets come with 24 month warranties depending on the plan you take. Ask instore about our which plans and tablets have 24 month warranties.
Depending on where you purchase your Tablet, you may be able to extend this warranty for greater peace of mind.

Generally Tablets connect to the internet in two ways – Wi-Fi or 3G. Wi-Fi-only Tablets can only connect when you're in range of a Wi-Fi hotspot and tend to be cheaper.
3G + Wi-Fi Tablets can connect in Wi-Fi hotspot and on mobile networks - this gives you a lot more freedom to use it in more places when out and about, such as parks, beaches, and while traveling between places1.

Common Tablet Operating Systems (OS) include the Google Android OS, Apple® iOS, and BlackBerry®Tablet OS. As new versions of Operating Systems are released, they are often given a version name i.e 'Honeycomb' is a version of Android.
Cheaper Tablets may have older versions of Operating System installed – it's worth checking you're getting the most up to date version.

When choosing your Tablet, it's a good idea to make sure the app store that you can access for that particular model has a big range of apps that are suitable to your needs.
Keep in mind that newer versions of Operating Systems will give you access to bigger, better and faster apps.

When it comes to tablets, size matters. Both screen size and memory size will affect your Tablet experience and ultimately the cost you pay.
If you have a big music and movie collection, look for bigger memory sizes - measured in 'GB'. Screen size is a personal choice but requires you to consider viewing experience vs portability.

There is a huge range of accessories available for Tablets. These span from basic cases, designer cases, music players, keyboards and connectivity accessories to help you sync with an ever-growing range of outputs such as TVs, notebooks, phones, and more.
We'd always recommend you get at least a screen protector and a case to keep your Tablet safe.
