1. What is Nokia Email?
Nokia Email is an application on selected Nokia handsets that enables you to access all your everyday email accounts such as Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo in one central location. Emails are automatically delivered to your handset without having to manually update or refresh your inbox.

2. Why is Nokia Email a better experience than usual webmail access?
Your email is delivered automatically to your email inbox in a similar way to how your TXTs arrive! You'll never miss another email again, they are delivered straight to your phone without the need to log in each time.
Some devices allow you to get your email contacts in your phone by syncing your email calendar and contacts to your phone. Check the compatibility matrix to see if your handset can sync calendar and contacts.
Upload and download photos directly from your phone so you can share photos, and attachments from your handset.
Get access to up to 10 email addresses on your phone (including Gmail, Yahoo!7 Mail, Windows Live Hotmail, ISP providers and more!).

3. How do I access email that uses my businesses email server with Nokia Email?
When setting up email Nokia Email you will be asked to enter an email address and password. If Nokia Email does not recognise the email account then it will ask you to select between setting up Corporate Email or Pop3 email. Pop3 email is accounts such as BigPond or iiNet. Corporate Email is email that uses a businesses email server. You can only access Corporate Email via Mail for Exchange component of Nokia Messaging. Mail for Exchange uses data and is not unlimited in the $5 Mobile Internet pack so if you wish to use Mail for Exchange, it will consume your data allowance.

4. Is Nokia Email included in the $5 Mobile Internet pack and above?
Unlimited Nokia Email is included within the $5 Mobile Internet pack and above. You get unlimited access to your Hotmail, Gmail Yahoo etc with this pack. If you are using Mail for Exchange to access corporate email, this access will consume your data allocation in your pack or cap.

5. How do I set up Nokia Email on my phone?
You should see a "set up email" link on the homescreen of your Nokia, however if you can't see this, you can follow these steps:
1) Go to Menu > Email (this could be in your 'Applications or Installations' folder
2) This will prompt you to enter your existing email account information for accounts such as Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo.
If you can't find the application, you can download it from Vodafone Central by following these steps:
1) Free TXT "Nokia" to 12 66 22
2) Click on the link in the reply TXT and follow the prompts to set up Nokia Email
3) Enter in your details for your existing Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo!7 Mail or ISP email account

6. What about my work emails?
If you have a work email account that uses your own business' email server, then you will need to set this up through the Mail for Exchange application. Accessing emails through Mail for Exchange will consume data from your cap or pack. Mail for Exchange is not available for all handsets, so check out compatibility guide to see if your handset is compatible. Some handsets come preinstalled with Mail for Exchange, however if your handset doesn't have this preinstalled, you can download it for free from Ovi Store (Nokia's application store)

7. What is my Domain?
Domains are a more in-depth location of where your emails are stored. Some companies have different servers for emails. The domain tells the Nokia Email service which server your email needs to go to. Think of it like a Unit number in an apartment complex. You may need to ask your IT department what your domain name is.

8. How am I notified of incoming email in Nokia Email?
When a new email arrives, you are notified with the email alert tone and/or vibration, and the @ sign usually appears in the menu bar. If you do not get an alert, you may need to change your profile settings in the same way you change your TXT tone.

9. Can anyone intercept and read my email as it travels over the wireless network?
No. Your email is encrypted through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) as it travels over the wireless network, to prevent unauthorized access.

10. How do I add or remove an email address on Nokia Email?
To add an email address:
1. From the Email launcher screen on your Nokia
2. Select Options.
3. Select Add mailbox.
To remove an email address:
1. From the Email launcher screen on your Nokia, select the Settings icon.
2. Scroll to the account you want to remove.
3. Select Options-Remove mailbox.
4. Select Yes.

11. How do I update the password for an email address I use with Nokia Email?
If you change the password to an email address with your email service provider, you need to update the password in the email address settings of your Nokia Email account so that you continue to receive email from that address.

12. How do I stop receiving email on my mobile phone?
To temporarily stop email delivery on your phone:
1. Open the Email launcher screen on your device.
2. Select Options
3. Select Offline.

13. How far back in time can I save my email using Nokia Email?
You can store email messages for up to one month with Nokia Email.
Those messages are stored in the device memory of your phone, so you may wish to change the amount of stored messages in the settings on your Nokia.
1. Go to the Email launcher
2. Select the Settings icon.
3. Select What to sync.
4. Select Inbox.
5. Select "Remove older than" and change to desired value.
When you initially set up Nokia Email you will receive email from the last three days, then automatic delivery of new email will begin. Old email is stored to the value you set in the Settings menu.
