What is mobile broadband?

Vodafone mobile broadband is simply Internet access using the Vodafone mobile network.

It's convenient, portable and doesn't require a fixed landline – letting you surf the net at home, email on the train, or Facebook on the go.

How to get started

Vodafone mobile broadband is easy to use, and comes in a variety of choices to suit your needs. There are three plan options:

  • Prepaid - you pay for your data upfront, and purchase more as and when you need it.
  • Month to month - generous data allowances without the commitment of a contract. Freedom to start, stop and move between plans as your needs change.
  • 12 or 24 month plans - optimum data rates, freedom to move plans with free devices on selected plans.

Selecting a mobile broadband device

There are several modem devices. They all suit differing needs#:

  • Pocket WiFi™ Extreme - our fastest WiFi modem yet when used on Vodafone 3G+ and capable of connecting up to 10 compatible devices.
  • Vodafone USB Pro modem - our business grade modem which works on more networks in more countries, giving you more choice
  • Vodafone offers a broad range of tablets and SIM only plans for customers with existing modems or tablets
  • Wi-Fi Sharing Dock - drop in a USB modem and you can create a Wi-Fi network in your home or office for up to 5 devices2.
