Move your 3 prepaid number to Vodafone

Because we’re saying goodbye to 3, your 3 service will no longer be available and your existing SIM will no longer work after 30 August. So if you haven’t already, you’ll need to move from 3 as soon as possible. Don’t worry, staying connected is easy – you’re already using the Vodafone network, so if you want to move to Vodafone, you just need to grab a new Vodafone SIM, recharge and you’re all set.

Here’s what you need to do

If you want to join us on Vodafone, head in store before August 30 2013 to pickup a new Vodafone SIM for free1. Our Vodafone prepaid recharges come in the same short and long expiry options that you’re used to and can be topped up using a voucher, online, on your phone using a credit card or using our handy My Vodafone app5. If you want to keep your number, our staff can walk you through it.

Keep your number and get a Vodafone bonus2

Simply transfer your number to Vodafone and activate a Vodafone recharge of $29 or higher before August 30 2013 and you’ll get double your Flexible Credit on that recharge. The best bit is - if you activate 2 more recharges in a row ($29 or above) within 120 days of your first recharge, you’ll get double Flexible Credit on those recharges. Too easy.

Like your 3 Cap?

Our Vodafone Caps are a great option for you. Our $30 Cap3 gives you Infinite standard national TXT, $450 of Flexible Credit (excludes premium services, including premium TXT) and 500MB of included data to use within Australia4.

Want a longer lasting recharge?

Our 365 Day option is your new best friend. Not only does it give you a Flexible Credit allowance (which just excludes premium voice services) that can last up to a whole year, any remaining Flexible Credit will roll over if you top up again on a 365 Day recharge before your original recharge expires.

Some more useful information

If you’re wondering about information stored on your phone or SIM such as TXTs, photos and contacts, they’ll still be on your phone or SIM so you can access them no matter where you decide to move.
