19. Galaxy Watch9 is water resistant for 10 minutes in water with a depth of 50 metres according to the ISO22810 standard, when tested in lab conditions. Galaxy Watch9 has an IP68 rating based on lab test conditions and is dust resistant and water resistant for submersion in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. Third party testing was conducted in 5% salty water and 4ppm chlorine water. Not suitable for diving or high pressure water activities. Refer to the user manual for further information, including care/use instructions. Galaxy Watch9 has obtained MIL-STD-810H Certification and has been tested under various specific lab conditions, including temperatures ranging from -40° C to 80° C, high altitude pressure at 15,000 ft and transit drop test at a height of 1.5 metres on a plywood surface. Service availability may vary by country, region, language. To check the Energy Score, the health data tracked from Samsung Galaxy Watch must be synchronised with the Samsung Health app. Needs at least the previous day’s activity data and sleep, and heart rate data during sleep. Energy Score does not act as a medical/therapeutic device. 22. Sleep Apnoea feature requires Galaxy Watch9 to be paired with a compatible Samsung Galaxy smartphone with Android OS 13 or later and latest version of Samsung Health Monitor app.

23. Sleep Apnoea feature is currently available in some selected countries only. Sleep Apnoea feature requires at least 2 days of sleep data within a span of 10 days (the two days do not necessarily have to be consecutive, but must be recorded within those 10 days).

24. The Sleep Apnoea Feature is intended to detect signs of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnoea in the form of significant breathing disruptions in adult users 22 years and older, by tracking sleep twice over a ten-day monitoring period. It is intended for on-demand use. This feature is not intended for users who have previously been diagnosed with sleep apnoea. This feature is not intended for use in the screening, diagnosis, treatment or management of sleep apnoea and users should not use this feature to replace traditional methods of diagnosis and treatment by a qualified clinician. If a pattern of breathing disturbances is identified by this feature, or you experience any other symptoms of sleep apnoea or any other breathing disturbance, consult a doctor. 25. Fitness Index on Galaxy Watch9 is available on Android phones (Android 13 or above) and requires the Samsung Health app v7.0 or above. Samsung account login required. To use the feature, BIA and VO2Max each need to be measured at least once, along with 2 days of activity records and step count data. It is solely intended for fitness and wellness purposes only and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions; or in the cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease; or for the prevention or control of conception or pregnancy. 26. Daily Cardio Load is available on Samsung Galaxy phones and requires Samsung Health app. Samsung Account login is required. To use the Daily Cardio Load features, at least 7 days of activity records are required, while 28 days of continuous wear is recommended for optimal accuracy. Please note that values may increase in daily situations where heart rate rises, such as during tension, anxiety, or stress. Daily Cardio Load is not a medical/therapeutic feature. 27. Running Coach program is available on Android phones (Android 13 or above) and requires Samsung Health app (v6.30 or above). Samsung account login required. Service only available with Galaxy Watch9 Series or later released Galaxy Watch Series. To use Running Coach program, user needs to take a running level test and get a level before starting the coach program. Running Coach feature does not act as a medical/therapeutic device. It is solely intended for fitness and wellness purposes only and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions; or in the cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease. 28. Vitals is available on Samsung Galaxy phones and requires Samsung Health app. Samsung Account login required. Requires initial setup wearing the Galaxy Watch for 7 out of 28 nights. Vitals is not a medical/therapeutic feature. It is solely intended for fitness and wellness purposes only and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions; or in the cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease; or for the prevention or control of conception or pregnancy. 29. Heart health is available on Android phones (Android 13 or above) and requires Samsung Health app (v7.0 or above). Samsung Account login required. Requires initial setup wearing watch for 24 hours (including awake and asleep). To calculate Heart health score, data on related lifestyle factors – including sleep duration, BMI, vascular trends and stress, and moderate to vigorous activity time – must be collected. To use this feature, you need a Galaxy Watch7 or above with One UI 9 or above. Heart health score is not a medical/therapeutic feature. It is solely intended for fitness and wellness purposes only and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions; or in the cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease; or for the prevention or control of conception or pregnancy. 30. Personalised Heart Rate Zone enabled when selecting outdoor run activity. It is required to run consistently for more than 10 minutes with speed of 4 km/h or faster.

31. To measure personalised FTP (Functional Threshold Power), Galaxy Watch9 must be connected to a power meter. The FTP is calculated automatically when cycling occurs at a mid to high intensity level for more than 4 minutes with the cycling power meter attached to your bicycle. Using machine learning, the more you ride repeatedly, the more accurate and personalised FTP values will be calculated. The cycling power meter is sold separately.

32. FTP measurement on Galaxy Watch9 requires Samsung Health app (v7.0 or above).

33. Vascular Load feature assesses certain bio-signals overnight against your baseline, and tracks your heart rate measurements over time. Galaxy Watch must be worn when sleeping for at least 3 days out of recent 14 days. Vascular load feature does not act as a medical/therapeutic device. It is solely intended for fitness and wellness purposes only and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions; or in the cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease; or for the prevention or control of conception or pregnancy. 34. Availability of Blood Pressure monitoring feature may vary by country or region. Blood pressure feature only to be used by adults 22 years and older. Intended for general wellness and fitness purposes only. Not intended for use in detection, monitoring, diagnosis, treatment of any medical condition or disease. The measurements are for your personal reference only. Please consult a medical professional for advice. For accurate BP readings, a calibration is required every 28 days by BP monitor & arm cuff. Requires a Galaxy smartphone running Android12 or above. Users should measure their blood pressure when at rest, as they would do with a traditional cuff, and refrain from measuring when they are working out, smoking or drinking. Measured blood pressure history can be reviewed within the Samsung Health Monitor app on a paired smartphone.

35. The ECG feature is intended to create, record, store, transfer, and display a single channel electrocardiogram (ECG), similar to a Lead I ECG for adults 22 years and older. The ECG feature is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis or treatment. The ECG feature is not intended for users with other known arrhythmias. If an irregular heartbeat or atrial fibrillation is detected, consult a doctor. If you experience symptoms of a heart attack, stroke, or other cardiovascular conditions, do not rely on the notification of the device and consult a doctor. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. 36. ECG to analyse the heart rhythm. The ECG Monitor App is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis or treatment. The ECG Monitor App is not intended for users with known arrhythmias other than AFib or users under 22 years old. Users should not interpret or take clinical action based on the device output without consultation of a qualified healthcare professional.
