How can we help?

At Vodafone Business we have access to the Vodafone global IoT network, comprising of over 600 Vodafone and partner networks, spanning over 190 countries. We also have access to the largest LPWA (Low-Power Wide-Area) footprint globally, available in over 90 countries.

Our solutions make it easy to deploy, integrate and manage your operations – whether it is to improve manufacturing line, industrial sensors or smart utility meters, we’ve got you covered.

Add network resiliency into your IoT solution. Our Global IoT SIM is always roaming. It can choose which network to connect to, delivering more reliable performance in case of a planned or unplanned network outage.

The Managed IoT Connectivity Platform  securely manages over 187 million IoT connections spanning across Vodafone and Vodafone partner networks.

We’ve doubled our network coverage

We’ve doubled our national mobile network coverage from around 400,000 to 1,000,000 sq km. What does this mean for your business? You’ll experience enhanced coverage regionally and when you travel domestically, helping your business stay mobile and cover more ground at the same time. Don’t just take our word for it, here are some solid facts:

  • Access to additional mobile network sites in regional Australia.
  • Increased national coverage from around 400,000 to 1,000,000 square kilometres.
  • A boost in the Australian population coverage from 95.4% to 98.4%.

For IoT, this means our 4G, 5G and NB-IoT network coverage has significantly expanded.

Connecting any IoT device, almost anywhere

If you have remotely located equipment or assets that are required to gather and process large amounts of data, this may require them to be constantly connected to the network to transmit data. Using LPWA network technologies, you can now easily connect any number of IoT devices located in remote locations or on the move.

Why Vodafone LPWA

1. Network coverage is subject to ongoing maintenance scheduled from time to time on the network.

2. Battery life expectancy will vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to frequency of connection, signal reception and device type. Please check with the equipment manufacturer to determine expected battery life performance.

3. Comparison based on the lower costs of LPWA modules data plans compared to traditional 4G/5G modules and data plans used in similar devices. Please check with module manufacturer to clarify module costs.
