Both help boost your Wi-Fi, but they work in different ways. Extenders stretch your signal. Mesh systems surround you with it.

• Wi-Fi extender: Think of it as a signal repeater. It grabs the Wi-Fi from your modem and rebroadcasts it to reach further. It’s simple and affordable, but can sometimes slow things down or create a separate network name.
• Wi-Fi mesh: This is next-level. Mesh uses multiple devices placed around your home. They all talk to each other and your modem, creating one  network with strong signal everywhere. No switching networks, no dropouts – just smooth coverage throughout your home.

If your modem has a LAN port (ethernet), you'll be able to use Wi-Fi mesh, whether you're on a 5G or nbn® home internet plan. All Vodafone modems have a LAN port.

This depends on how many devices are connected in your home, the size of your home and how many levels it has. For apartments with dead zone issues, one mesh is generally enough. For two to three bedroom homes or those with two storeys, two mesh units will significantly increase coverage. Large homes over 278 square metres may require a third mesh unit – especially if they have multiple storeys. 

Accessories Payment Plan (Mesh Wi-Fi)
To apply for an Accessories Payment Plan you’ll need to be an approved new or existing Vodafone postpaid customer and must agree to a credit check. Accessories Payment Plan (APP) enables eligible Vodafone postpaid customers to buy accessories and pay for them in instalments over 12, 24 or 36 months (Period). Your accessory price is spread in equal instalments over the Period (APP Instalments). Your APP Instalments will appear on your monthly bill. Under the APP, you own the accessories; you must pay your APP Instalments at the same time and in the same way as you pay for your Vodafone service even if your APP accessories are lost, damaged or stolen. Your APP spend can range from $30 up to your credit approval limit. If during your APP commitment Period you cancel your APP or postpaid plan, the balance of your APP Instalments is payable. You can pay the remainder of your APP and terminate your APP at any time by contacting us. We will notify you of the amount you need to pay to satisfy the remainder of your APP total amount and will be displayed on you next bill. Once we receive your payment for this amount in cleared funds, your APP will be terminated and you will not be required to pay any further APP Instalments. You can have a max of 5 APP per postpaid plan. Each APP can have up to 10 accessories. Not available online.

Discount available to approved new and existing Vodafone NBN and Vodafone 5G Home Internet (Eligible Plan) customers with a Vodafone Super Wi-Fi Modem who purchase a Vodafone Super Wi-Fi Mesh (Eligible Customers). Discount applies only to the purchase of the first Vodafone Super Wi-Fi Mesh and not to the purchase of any subsequent mesh. My Internet Connect App 
My Internet Connect App (the App) is an optional feature available to eligible home internet customers with the Vodafone Super Wi-Fi Max Modem or Vodafone Super Wi-Fi Max 5G Modem. It assists customers to manage their modem, home network and related settings. The App is available to download through Google Play Store for Android devices and App Store for iOS devices. There is no additional cost for the App however mobile data is required at your own cost when used outside of your home internet service.
