Once you've purchased your 5G phone (excludes prepaid), you'll receive your sales order number via email. Keep this handy for submitting a claim. Don't forget to check the list of eligible competitors. T&C apply.
Submit a Price Beat Guarantee claim
Fill out the claim form, checking your details are accurate and you've supplied the URL of the eligible competitor's lower advertised price. You have up to 5 days to claim. Alternatively, if you wish to purchase in-store or over the phone, then you'll need to submit your claim at the time of purchase.

Where can I request a price beat?
To request a price beat simply submit your claim via our dedicated online form within 5 days of purchasing. Alternatively, you can call our friendly team via 1300 724 383, head to one of our Vodafone branded retail stores or authorised dealers, or chat to our team online.
Make sure you’ve got your proof of the advertised competitor discount from Samsung, Apple, Optus or Telstra ready to go, along with your order details, as you’ll need these to make your Price Beat claim.

Who are the eligible competitors?
To make a successful price beat claim, the lower price must be advertised by the following retailers:
- Telstra
- Optus
- Apple
- Samsung
And not:
- other retailers (whether online or physical), subject to clearance, liquidation, auction/warehouse, online only prices, “run out” or “closing down” prices, or bulk retail model.
What Vodafone products are eligible for Price Beat?
Any 5G mobile phone that is currently in stock and for sale on Vodafone Australia’s website is eligible for a price beat claim.
When do I need to make the price beat claim?
When claiming in store or over the phone, claims will be submitted at time of purchase.
If you purchase your 5G mobile phone online, you have up to 5 days to make your claim for our Price Beat Guarantee. Any claims beyond this point will be considered ineligible.
We cannot guarantee that your application will be successful, and you should not make your mobile plan purchase in reliance upon the Price Beat Guarantee. We recommend that you are familiar with the terms and conditions of the offer, in particular what you need to submit, and which competing retailers it applies to, for an application to be successful.
Can I Price Beat on Vodafone outright purchases?
No, we only Price Beat on 5G mobile phones purchased on a monthly payment plan.
How will I receive my discount?
You will receive a monthly credit for the duration of the chosen payment plan with the total of these credits equal to the competitor’s discounted handset price plus $10.
This recurring credit will appear from your first or second bill.
For example, if the difference between our price and a competitor’s price is $100, we will give you a discount of $110. That $110 discount will then be divided up and applied across each bill for the life of your plan (on a 12-month plan this would be reflected in a $9.16 discount each monthly bill).
Can I price beat a competitor’s price on an outright device purchase (i.e. device only, not on a plan)?
Yes. We can price beat against a competitor’s price on an outright device purchase (i.e. where you purchase the device outright, not on a plan). Where we do this, we will still split equally the total discount amount across recurring credits across the chosen monthly repayment term on your plan with Vodafone.
Can I make a price beat claim in store?
Yes, you can price beat in our Vodafone branded retail stores or authorised dealers.
Can I price beat multiple devices on the one order?
No, to purchase an additional 5G phone with a price beat claim you’ll need to raise this as a separate request.
Can I price beat pre-paid mobile phones?
No, the Vodafone price beat isn’t available for pre-paid mobile phones.
How will I know if my claim is successful?
Customers claiming over the phone or via our online chat will be immediately notified of the success of their claim.
Customers claiming in store or via our dedicated online claim form will be notified within 14 days of the success of their claim.
What proof do I need to make a price beat claim?
We’ll need you to supply evidence or the webpage URL of the competitor offer you’ve found from one of our eligible retailers.
My Price Beat claim has been rejected, what do I do?
Common reasons a price beat claim may be rejected:
The claim does not meet the Vodafone price beat eligibility criteria
The competitor discount is not for the general public and/or is intended for a specific group
The competitor discount is only available in conjunction with a specific rate plan, corporate package, loyalty program or discount coupon
The discount or value is based on a gift-with-purchase or is otherwise not directly linked to the handset RRP
We believe your evidence to be fake or falsified
The competitors 5G phone is not identical to the 5G phone requested for purchase from Vodafone

Terms and conditions
Vodafone Price Beat The Vodafone 5G Phone Price Beat Guarantee is a new promotion from Vodafone for its Australian customers. Under Vodafone’s Price Beat Guarantee, if a customer sees an Eligible Device advertised cheaper at an Eligible Retailer, Vodafone will beat that competing price by AUD$10 (Promotion). Eligible Device means any 5G mobile phone that Vodafone currently sells via its official Australian online and retail channels. Eligible Retailer means the official Australian online and retail outlets of Telstra, Optus, Apple and Samsung.
Price Beat Terms
Competitor’s Eligible Device must be brand new and in stock from an Eligible Retailer.
Promotion is only available to Vodafone personal consumer customers and small business customers with an ABN.
Promotion excludes pre-paid devices or pre-paid accounts.
To participate in the Promotion and claim a price beat, a customer must call Vodafone, initiate a chat with a Vodafone agent online, visit one of our Vodafone retail stores or authorised dealers, or submit a claim via our online form. For in store or over the phone claims, the customer must mention Vodafone’s price beat campaign, the device they are seeking to buy and tell the agent where they saw the competing offer. Vodafone may ask for evidence of the competing offer. The agent will verify the competing price and the customer will be advised whether or not they are successful. Customers claiming over the phone or via our online chat will be immediately notified of the success of their claim. For claims via our online form, the customer must supply evidence of the competing offer via webpage URL, along with proof of purchase of the 5G phone from Vodafone. Customer’s claiming in store or via online form will be notified within 14 days of the success of their claim.
In relation to purchases made online, there is no guarantee that a customer’s application will be successful. As such, customers should not make their mobile plan purchases in reliance upon the Price Beat Guarantee, and should familiarise themselves with the terms that apply to this promotion, in particular what evidence is required to support a claim, and which competing retails the promotion applies to.
Successful price beat claims will receive AUD$10 off the competitor’s advertised retail price of the Eligible Device.
The customer will receive a discount of the difference in price between Vodafone’s advertised price and the competitor’s advertised price plus $10. That discount will be applied by way of a recurring credit divided equally across each bill over the life of the plan contract.
Competitor’s Eligible Device must be the same SKU (Model / Colour / Storage Capacity) as Eligible Device advertised by Vodafone you are selecting for purchase.
Promotion applies to new Eligible Devices only and does not include any price beat against third party offers for devices that are second hand, refurbished, exdemonstration, display units, or available by clearance, liquidation or auction processes.
Vodafone will not honour any claims made in relation to offers by unauthorised distributors, third-party sellers on marketplaces, overseas stock or delivered directly to customers from an overseas distributor.
Promotion is only available in the same channel that the 5G phone was purchased. If the purchase was made in store, the claim must also be made in store at that time. If the purchase was made via our online store, then the claim must also be made via our online form, and must be done within 5 days after purchasing.
Promotion is only against a competitor’s comparable recommended retail price or their publicly advertised discounted price inclusive of any additional fees, taxes, delivery or freight. Pricing errors, cashback offers and “run out” or “closing down” offers are excluded.
Promotion excludes competing Eligible Device prices where they are discounted based on acquiring a specific plan, receiving a gift-with-purchase, or value received after a device trade-in.
Limit of five (5) price beats per customer. Limit of one (1) price beat per phone number. Promotion cannot be used to acquire devices for commercial use or resale.
Promotion can only be applied once per Eligible Device.
We will not honour the Promotion if we determine that the evidence provided is not genuine, has been falsified or tampered with in any way.
Promotion can be withdrawn or altered at any time without notice.
Where a customer disconnects a service prior to the contracted full term, any remaining price beat discounts will be removed and the device will be charged at the full, remaining undiscounted recommended retail price.
Vodafone has full discretion to make any determination it reasonably sees fit in approving, denying or querying a claim under this Promotion and reserves all rights in that respect.
