Vodafone launches online sales of 5G Home Internet

Plans available for eligible customers with 5G indoor coverage

Vodafone is excited to announce the launch of two new 5G Home Internet plans, providing new and existing Vodafone customers at an approved address, with an alternative to NBN services at a competitive price. The new plans follow the invitation-only launch in June.

Vodafone’s Premium 5G Home Internet plan is available online for $75 per month ($70 per month when you have a mobile phone plan with us) and offers unlimited data with speeds up to 100Mbps.

Vodafone’s Ultimate 5G Home Internet plan is available online for $85 per month ($80 per month when you have a mobile phone plan with us) and offer unlimited data at Max 5G speed (which is data at the fastest speed the Vodafone network can deliver to you, depending on the geography of your area, the building you are in, the placement of your modem and de-prioritisation).

Vodafone is also offering across both 5G Home Internet plans a first month free plan fees offer to road test the product before taking it up if you sign up before 31 January 2022. Both 5G Home Internet plans come with a Vodafone 5G Home Broadband Modem at zero cost when you stay connected for 36 months.

Importantly, Vodafone 5G Home Internet also comes with a simple, straight forward Customer Satisfaction Guarantee – If you are not completely happy with Vodafone’s 5G Home Internet you can cancel the plan any time and for any reason. Simply pay any outstanding plan fees and return your modem in good working order within 30 days of cancellation (otherwise maximum modem cost is $612).

Group Executive, New Business Development Craig Levy said the new 5G Home Internet plans from Vodafone present an exciting opportunity for customers to try a new way of connecting their home – leveraging 5G technology – at a competitive price and no lock in contract.

“We know customers are hungry for the latest technology and want a fast, affordable home broadband solution that suits their needs,” Mr Levy said.

“Customers also demand the easier set up process that wireless broadband can deliver. Simply switch on your modem in a suitable position and connect your devices to Wi-Fi and you’re on your way. No need to wait for a connection date or a technician to come to the house.

“There has been huge demand for our 4G Home Wireless services, with a tripling of our company’s customer base in the first half of this year. We are excited that 5G allows us to extend the benefits to customers with higher speed needs with 5G technology allowing us to deliver faster speeds.

“Vodafone’s new 5G Home Internet plans offer great value and reward loyalty, with a discount for our existing mobile customers. The one month free and the Customer Satisfaction Guarantee gives customers the opportunity to try out the service and see if it meets their needs.

“Our 5G network for mobile is currently rolling out nationally in selected areas of major cities and centres, and these new plans will allow customers with 5G indoor access to take advantage of an affordable broadband connection in their home.”
