Changing the broadband game with Instant Connect and 4G back-up
Vodafone today announced customers will be able to order Vodafone nbn™ services online, over the phone or in 78 stores across Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Geelong and Newcastle.
Vodafone nbn™ is taking the lead in the customer experience, offering unlimited broadband data and a unique set of initiatives designed to make the nbn™ process simple and fair.

Vodafone Chief Executive Officer Inaki Berroeta said he was proud of the Vodafone nbn™ product which will deliver a converged internet experience.
“We are very excited to launch Vodafone nbn™ to complement our mobile network, allowing customers to be always connected, whether it’s at home, at work or on the go,” Mr Berroeta said.
“We are putting customers first. If our customers are unable to receive the service they paid for, or if there’s a problem with their installation or line connection, they’re not going to be left in the lurch.
“From the outset, we want our customers to connect to the nbn™ with confidence, and we have set clear standards for ourselves and the industry to achieve this.”
4G access while you wait, a hit in trials
Vodafone’s General Manager of Broadband Services Matthew Lobb said the company has taken on board the feedback of hundreds of customers who have trialled the Vodafone nbn™ experience over recent months.
“Our customers told us they loved being connected to the internet from day one via our mobile network while they waited for their nbn™ installation,” Mr Lobb said.
“Based on feedback from our trial customers, we have automated the 4G Back Up service so customers will not have to contact us if they experience an issue with their nbn™ connection.
“We are taking a sensible and staged approach to the rollout of Vodafone nbn™ to ensure we get the customer experience right, and we will continue to use our customers’ feedback to help us make refinements.”
Special launch offer
To celebrate the launch of Vodafone nbn™ in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Geelong, Newcastle and Wollongong, for a limited period from Monday 4 December, Vodafone is offering three months’ free plan fees for eligible customers connecting to 24 month plans.
Vodafone nbn™ plans start at $70 per month for unlimited broadband and includes the Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub™ for $0 upfront

30 Day Network Satisfaction Guarantee
After service activation customers can love or leave Vodafone within 30 days. Vodafone will refund plan fees (excl. nbn™ charges) if the Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub™ is returned in 10 days. More information on 30 Day Network Satisfaction Guarantee can be found here.
Freedom to change speed plans without fees
Freedom to change speed plans once per bill cycle without fees. For FTTN and FTTB connections, Vodafone will also run a speed check on the customer’s line within the first 15 days of activation.
With the Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub™, customers can access the strength of our mobile network while they wait for Vodafone nbn™ activation. It is available for up to 30 days with maximum speeds of 12Mbps (down) and 1Mbps (up).
4G Back Up
If there is a fault on a customer’s individual line, 4G Back Up will provide comforting assurance to the customer by using the power of Vodafone’s mobile network. It is available for up to 30 days with maximum speeds of 12Mbps (down) and 1Mbps (up).
Fair use policy applies to all unlimited plans.
