You can share Your Max Speed data with other Plus Plans under one account, and you can share data with other SIM Only and Red Plans under one account. Up to 5 eligible services can be shared and data is for use in Australia. T&C apply.

If you signed up to a Red or SIM Only Modem plan after 2 July 2020, you won’t be able to share your data.

What is mobile broadband?

Using a modem or tablet, mobile broadband is a wireless connection to the internet via a mobile network. Vodafone uses the same network for mobile phones, tablets and mobile broadband modems.

Is $5 Roaming available on Mobile Broadband, Tablet, Data or Modem Plans?

If you signed up to a Red or SIM Only Modem plan after 2 July 2020, you won’t be able to access $5 Roaming.

If you signed up to a Mobile Broadband plan after 12 April 2017, $5 Roaming will be available and already switched on for you.

If you signed up to an eligible Mobile Broadband plan between 31 August 2016 and 12 April 2017, you’ll need to activate $5 Roaming through My Vodafone.

If you signed up to a Tablet or Data Plan, $5 Roaming is available and already switched on for you.

Terms and conditions

Red Modem Plans
Modem Plans are only available if you simultaneously purchase a modem from Vodafone under a Mobile Payment Plan (‘MPP’) of 12, 24 or 36 months duration (“Commitment Period”). For personal use by approved customers only. Inclusions expire after 1 month unless otherwise stated.

Minimum monthly spend is $20. Must connect for minimum one month. Total minimum cost is one month of your plan fees plus 100% of the MPP instalments of your chosen device. There is no Early Exit Fee on your Modem Plan, however, if you choose to cancel your Modem Plan, your MPP will also auto cancel and 100% of the remaining device instalments will be applied to your next bill. Recurring monthly plan fee charged until the end of the month in which you cancel.

If monthly data allowance exceeded additional data is automatically added for $10 per 10GB ($0.001/MB).

Any unused Additional Data will be rolled over for one billing month. After this it will expire. Included Data does not rollover and expires after 1 month. Included data only for use in Australia on Vodafone’s network.

SIM Only Modem Plans
For personal use by approved customers only. You must supply your own compatible modem in order to sign up to this plan – you cannot purchase a modem from Vodafone on instalments with this plan.

Minimum monthly spend is $20. Must connect for minimum one month. Recurring monthly plan fee charged until the end of the month in which you notify that you wish to cancel.

If monthly data allowance exceeded additional data is automatically added for $10 per 10GB ($0.001/MB).

Any unused Additional Data will be rolled over for one billing month. After this it will expire. Included Data does not rollover and expires after 1 month. All data for use in Australia. Services subject to capabilities, network limitations & customer location.

Bundle & Save
Bundle & Save discounts are available to (a) new customers who connect two or more Eligible Plans on the same billing account; OR (b) existing customers with an Eligible Plan who: add one or more eligible services to their billing account or who upgrade or switch an ineligible Plan to an Eligible Plan; OR (c) existing customers who have two Eligible Plans and upgrade or change one of those Eligible Plan to access the Bundle and Save discounts.

Eligible Plans are: All voice plans of $30 and above released on or after July 25 2018 (excluding Assured Plans); Tablet Plans of $30 and above released on or after June 27 2018, and $20 and above all Modem plans released on or after July 2 2020; and all nbn™ Plans. Excludes Business Flex. Customers will receive a percentage discount off each Eligible Plan’s access fees (5% off two plans, 10% off three plans, 15% off four plans or 20% off five or more plans) when active on a single billing account. Note MPP, APP or Add-On fees are not discounted.

The Bundle & Save discount is calculated from the first full bill cycle and updated monthly as eligible services are added or removed. Any second service discounts are replaced by the applicable Bundle & Save discount. If early exit fees apply to an Eligible Plan they are calculated using the undiscounted amount x months remaining.
