From Saturday 29 August 2026, Prepaid mobile customers across Vodafone, TPG, iiNet, felix, Lebara and Kogan Mobile can make free standard international voice calls and SMS from Australia to Nepal. Standard calls and SMS will not use plan inclusions. These offers are available until Monday 14 September 2026 unless extended.
Vodafone Postpaid plans already include unlimited standard international text. Some customers on an older Vodafone Postpaid service may incur a charge when sending a standard SMS to Nepal during the offer period. We invite these customers to contact customer support for a credit.
Flooding and local network conditions could cause service disruptions outside our control. Customers who experience difficulty connecting may need to retry calling before they can successfully connect.
Free rating applies to standard international voice calls and SMS from Australia to Nepal. The following services are excluded from free rating, and usage will incur additional charges: Premium calls, premium SMS, MMS, video calls and calls to satellite phones.
