We’ve just announced big changes to our Prepaid plans – all designed to make things simpler for our customers. We’re offering more data and standard international minutes1 to more selected countries to our base plans, so that you can have the best of both worlds.

We’ve looked at what our customers are using most and we realise that Prepaid customers value flexibility, so we’ve simplified our plans to include more data and international call minutes to even more destinations.

That’s why we will be condensing our Prepaid options to six key plans, ranging from $10 up to $60. The new plans replace Vodafone’s Talk and Data plans, which will now be known as Vodafone Combo Plus plans, with Data and standard international minutes. Check out the Vodafone website to find out more about the inclusions of each plan.

What are the benefits of the new Vodafone Combo Plus plans?

Combo Plus plans from $40 and above come with infinite talk and text, Vodafone’s signature 35-day expiry and standard international minutes to more countries than ever before on Prepaid (check our selected countries to see which ones are included in your plan). International minutes are split up into two zones and cover 90 selected countries.

In fact, India, New Zealand and China are the three most called destinations using Vodafone’s international minutes. So, from today, we’ve upped the inclusions and customers can now get up to 2000 standard international minutes to these Zone 1 countries which includes up to 20 selected countries. (2000 standard international minutes to Zone 1 countries included on the $60 Combo Plus plan).

We’ve also noticed that our customers regularly dial out of Australia to Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Belgium and the Czech Republic and so we’ve included these countries as part of our second zone of selected countries. (There are 70 selected countries in Zone 2)

Now that’s how you do prepaid better! But you might be wondering, how do you get on to one of these plans if you’re a new or existing customer? It’s simple…

I’m a current Vodafone Prepaid customer, how do I migrate onto the new plans?

When you next go to recharge, you have the option to recharge on our existing Data and Talk Combo plans, or get more value by choosing one of our new Vodafone Combo Plus plans. Simply head online to Express recharge, and select ‘choose something else’ to move on to one of our new Combo Plus plans.
