Both screens measure 6.5”, with the A32 5G having a 720P LCD Infinity-V display, whilst the A52 5G has a higher resolution 1080p Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. The A52 5G’s screen also has a refresh rate of 120Hz, a fantastic feature at this price point, making your scrolling, gaming and swiping super smooth.
Both phones feature a quad rear-camera system, with a main, ultra-wide, macro and depth cameras, with the A52 5G taking higher resolution photos on its main and ultra-wide cameras (64MP & 12MP vs 48MP & 8MP respectively). The A52 5G also has optical image stabilisation on the main lens, letting you take clearer shots, especially at night. Both phones can also shoot 4K video.
The A32 5G has a bigger 5,000mAh battery which should easily last you more than a day, and it also supports 15W fast charging, whilst the A52 5G has a 4,500mAh with 25W fast charging getting you back to full capacity quicker.
Speakers, water resistance & fingerprint scanner
If you’re someone who watches a lot of video using your phone’s speaker, then the stereo speakers with Dolby ATMOS on the A52 5G will provide you superior sound. It is also rated IP67 water resistant** unlike the A32 5G, making sure your phone stays safe from those liquid accidents. When it comes to fingerprint sensors, the one on the A32 5G is located on the side of the phone, whilst the A52 5G’s is in the display itself.
Both phones come with 128GB of internal storage, expandable to 1TB via a micro SD card, but the A52 5G has 6GB of RAM vs the A32 5G’s 4GB, making gaming and multitasking much more seamless, and the A52 5G features a faster Snapdragon 720g compared to the A32 5G’s MediaTek Dimensity 720.
