Call barring.

Call barring restricts your service from making and receiving calls, or sending and receiving text messages. Your service may be barred for account related reasons, such as an unpaid bill or high unbilled charges.

How to remove call barring on your service.

To remove call barring on your service, give us a call on 1300 650 410. If you didn't place the bar yourself, there may be an issue with your account that needs to be sorted out before it can be removed.

If you placed the bar yourself using GSM codes, you can remove all bars by dialing:

# 330 * [YOUR BARRING PIN] #

Using GSM codes to manage call and text barring.

You can restrict incoming and outgoing calls and text messages on your service by dialing GSM codes on your device. You can also remove any bars you’ve placed on your service and change your barring PIN.

If you’re using GSM codes to restrict incoming or outgoing calls, dial ##002# first. This will clear all incoming call diversions, which prevent GSM codes from working.

What is my barring PIN?

Your barring PIN is a 4 digit number that authorises you to switch barring on or off. If you haven’t changed it, the default barring PIN be ‘0000’ or ‘1234’.

Can I restrict MMS using GSM codes?

No. You can’t restrict MMS using GSM codes.

Restricting outgoing text messages using GSM codes won’t restrict outgoing MMS.
