Automatically or manually connecting to a network

Your device should automatically select the correct network.

In Australia your device should automatically select the Vodafone 4G network where it’s available. If the 4G network isn’t available, your device should connect to the 3G network. If both the 4G and 3G networks are available, you can manually select the 3G network if you wish – however this may affect your data speeds.

If you’re overseas and you activate international roaming, your device should automatically select the network that Vodafone has an arrangement with. However, if your device selects a network and you can’t make calls or access data, you may need to manually select another network to use your device.
