Voice over LTE (VoLTE) is a feature that allows you to call using our 4G network. It allows you to remain connected to the 4G network during calls, which means you can continue using 4G mobile data while making and receiving calls.
To use Voice over LTE you need a device that’s compatible and enabled, and be on an eligible plan.
If you have a device that wasn’t purchased through Vodafone, you may not be able to use Voice over LTE on our network.
Android devices
If you have a Samsung device, Voice over LTE should automatically be enabled. If you’ve previously disabled Voice over LTE on your Android device in store, head in store to reenable Voice over LTE.
Apple devices
Here’s how to enable Voice over LTE on your iPhone:
Check your device’s eligibility
You must have an iPhone 6 or above
Change your settings
Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Enable 4G
Activate VoLTE
Select the Voice & Data option to activate Voice over LTE
These are the devices that are compatible with Voice over LTE.
