Changes to a business account.

If you want to make changes on an account that’s registered in a business name, you’ll need a Letter of Authority from the company director or CEO confirming you as an authorised contact.

A Letter of Authority can also be used:

  • To request changes to the account.
  • To request the release of the account PIN.

There are a couple of different ways to get your Letter of Authority to us. If we haven't given you an email address, give us a call on 1555 from your Vodafone phone.

What to include on a Letter of Authority.

A Letter of Authority confirming an authorised contact on a business account must include the following:

  • The full company letterhead and display the company’s ABN or ACN.
  • Identify the billing account number, or one of the mobile numbers on the account.
  • It must be physically signed by the company director or CEO. We are unable to accept electronic signatures.
  • List the signatory as being the director or CEO of the company.
  • Clearly explain the request in detail and who to contact when it’s been processed.

If you’re asking us to release the account PIN, make sure you provide the name and phone number of the person who needs it as we’ll need to call them. We can’t release the account PIN in a return email, letter or fax.

If you’re emailing a scanned copy of the Letter of Authority to us and you're not already an authorised contact on the account, it'll need to be sent from an email address that contains the company’s domain name. We won’t accept Letters of Authority sent from webmail domains, such as Gmail or Hotmail.
