5G
While we continue to support you on our best ever 4G network, since mid-2020 Vodafone’s 5G network is progressively being rolled out to selected areas in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth. To access the 5G Network you will need a 5G approved device in a Vodafone 5G Coverage area. In non-5G coverage areas, you'll use our 4G or 3G networks. Actual speeds vary due to location & network congestion. Head to our 5G page for updates and to check when 5G will be coming to your area.

4G available with a 4G device, and plan with Vodafone Alerts. 4G in selected cities in Australia. Use our network coverage checker here to find out where 4G is available.

Network Satisfaction Guarantee
Applies to postpaid business customers with up to 9 connections. If you’re a new customer and you’ve signed up to any new plan and you don't love our network within the first 30 days of sign-up, or in the case of a Vodafone nbn™ plan within the first 30 days of service activation, you’re welcome to cancel by calling 1300551198 (excludes upgrades, and rate plan changes). You will only have to pay for those services you’ve used or for charges incurred, that are not included in your plan, up until your number or nbn™ service is fully transferred and device and equipment in original packaging with proof of purchase returned to a Vodafone (not dealer) store within 10 days of your claim. Where you have an individual plan, you can make one claim per year, per person. Where you have multiple shared plans on your account, you can make one claim in relation to each plan for up to 10 claims per account, per year per person. Accessories not refunded. Vodafone Infinite SIM Only Plans
For personal use by approved customers only. You must supply your own handset in order to sign up to this plan – you cannot purchase a phone from Vodafone on instalments with this plan. Inclusions expire after 1 month unless otherwise stated. Plan excludes Premium Services, 1223, & 1225 directory services, 123 Ask-Us-Anything, International Roaming, content purchases, call screen and charges for additional data and additional standard international calls.
Minimum monthly spend is $40, $45, $55, $65 and $120 respectively. Must connect for minimum one month. Recurring monthly plan fee charged until the end of the month in which you notify that you wish to cancel.
If you have more than one Vodafone Infinite or Plus Plans on your billing account, the Max Speed data allowances on those services will automatically combine into one pool which will be shared between eligible users. Data sharing is only available for up to 5 services. The data included in any plan on your account which is not a Vodafone Infinite Plan or Plus Plan is not shareable with this plan and vice versa. You can opt-out of sharing altogether at any time by calling 1555.

Vodafone Infinite Plans
Vodafone Infinite Plans are only available if you simultaneously purchase a phone from Vodafone under a Mobile Payment Plan (‘MPP’) of 12, 24 or 36 months duration (“Commitment Period”). For personal use by approved customers only. Inclusions expire after 1 month unless otherwise stated. Plan excludes Premium Services, 1223, & 1225 directory services, 123 Ask-Us-Anything, International Roaming, content purchases, call screen and charges for additional data and additional standard international calls.
Minimum monthly spend is $40, $45, $55, $65 and $120 respectively. Must connect for minimum one month. Total minimum cost is one month of your plan fees plus 100% of the MPP instalments of your chosen device. If you choose to cancel your Vodafone Infinite Month to Month Plan, your MPP will auto cancel and 100% of the remaining handset instalments will be applied to your next bill. Recurring monthly plan fee charged until the end of the month in which you cancel.

Data
All data for use in Australia within the Vodafone Network coverage area. Vodafone Infinite Plans include a “Max Speed” data allowance (which is data at the fastest speed the Vodafone network can deliver to you, depending on your handset and the time and place you are using data) which will be used first; thereafter data is available at speeds of up to 2, 10 or 25mbps depending on your chosen plan until your next billing month. Tethering permitted to personal devices only, but must not be used in a modem or as a substitute for a home internet service. Heavy data users may experience slower speeds than other users during busy periods.
With 2Mbps you can check your socials, browse the web and stream music but is not suitable for HD video. With 10Mbps you can use video calling, and high definition video. Uploading large files to the web may be slow. 25Mbps provides the ultimate video streaming experience. Great for using cloud storage, but uploading very large files may be slow. Actual speeds you reach will continually vary depending on many factors such as device capabilities, location, network congestion, network coverage, if you are roaming and if you are a heavy data user. Vodafone 4G Backup
Vodafone 4G Backup is a complimentary service that provides an interim internet connection using either the Vodafone 3G or 4G network in Vodafone Coverage Areas only. It is only available using the Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub™ with a Vodafone SIM on our network. 4G Backup is available from when you receive your Wi-Fi Hub until your nbn™ service is fully activated or for a period of 30 consecutive days (whichever occurs first). This service will also be automatically activated if you lose connection to Vodafone nbn™ during confirmed local nbn™ faults. This excludes mass nbn™ outages. You will be able to use the Backup service until the fault is resolved or for a period of 30 consecutive days (whichever occurs first). Service performance varies depending on network coverage and your location with speeds likely less than the maximum. Our Fair Use Policy applies.

Installation
The process for installation of Vodafone nbn™ will vary depending on the nbn™ service type available at your premises. We will inform you of the process for installation at your premises when you sign-up. If you require installation by an nbn™ technician they will need access to your home and someone aged 18+ must be home. If you do not own the property, you must obtain consent from the owner in order to have Vodafone nbn™ installed. You are responsible for setting up your Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub and your Wi-Fi network.
