Current Scams

November 2017: Vodafone E-Bill Scam

Vodafone Australia is aware of a Fake E-Bill scam targeting Vodafone customers.

We have received information that indicates scammers are preparing to target Vodafone customers with fraudulent Vodafone electronic bills.

These scam emails will be sent from the email address bill@vodafonebill.com, contain an attached fake bill as a PDF, and a link to the website hxxp://vodafonebill.com.

This is not a legitimate Vodafone Australia email address or website. All Vodafone bills are sent from noreply@mybill.vodafone.com.au. All Vodafone Australia bills link to https://myaccount.myvodafone.com.au for payment.

If you receive one of these scam emails, please delete it immediately. Please do not click any of the links or open any attached files.

What to do if you receive suspicious correspondence claiming to be from Vodafone.

If you've received a call, letter, message or other communication that claims to be from Vodafone and you suspect it may be a scam or hoax, give us a call on 1300 650 410 and we'll verify any correspondence.

If you receive suspicious correspondence, it’s important you don't respond, provide personal details, click links in messages or open any email attachments to ensure your personal information stays safe.
