We’re not talking about your New Year’s Resolution but your business. What are your plans going into 2026?
Most small business goals will be around increasing profits, expanding their product offering, exploring new geographical territories, or reducing their operating costs. Which is fair.
What few (if any) ever consider is seeking help for their small business. And no, we’re not talking employees. Having a trusted business partner can have a positive impact on your business in ways you may never have thought of.
That’s why you should consider contacting your local Vodafone Business Centre (VBC).
To put it simply, it’s a collective of business specialists with decades worth of experience in the telecommunications space. Their aim isn’t to sell products, but to find (or create) the right services, products and plans to match your business goals.
The best part is that you can find many Vodafone Business Centres in most capital cities across Australia.
So, 2026 is off and running, and there’s a good chance you’ve got quite a few plans/goals for the year ahead. Given that most small businesses are online, part of your plans could be reviewing your IT and telecommunication needs.
While you can research plan prices, speeds and specs until your head spins, none of the sites you visit will be able to tell you if it suits your business needs.
You might also decide to head into a Vodafone retail store, which is perfectly fine if you already know what you’re after when it comes to plans and phones.
The people in our VBCs are business specialists with decades of experience in telecommunications. They’ve seen the evolution of the internet and buttons disappear from mobile phones.
To work out what you need they’ll focus on why you need it. This means finding out what your plans are for your business in the future or what you’re trying to achieve in the near future. Using this information, they’ll work closely with you to find the right products and services to meet your needs.
If you find yourself short on time, a VBC representative can come to your premises to discuss your needs.
Given that our VBC representatives are businesspeople, they’re across business legislations and regulations, which they take into account when assessing your business needs and recommending products.
Realistically, any time you need advice. Just call your nearest VBC in your state, book a time to visit them (or have them visit you) and take it from there.
However, if you’re looking for some advice that’s a little more solid, we recommend booking an appointment at the beginning of the year. This is the best time to assess your current needs and equipment and plan for the year ahead.
It will also be a good idea to set up periodical check-ins with your VBC rep to make sure that everything is on track, but also performing optimally. That way if there are any issues starting to arise, you can address them sooner (rather than later) and have them remedied.
If you haven’t dropped by your local VBC yet, now’s the perfect time. Back in early 2025, we doubled our network expanding coverage from 400,000 to 1,000,000 square kilometres across Australia. That means your business can stay connected and reach more places than ever before.
It’s a valid question. Every business should be doing their best to plan for 2026, whether from a business, financial, or equipment perspective.
