My Internet Connect App
My Internet Connect App (the App) is an optional feature available to eligible home internet customers with the Vodafone Super Wi-Fi Max Modem or Vodafone Super Wi-Fi Max 5G Modem. It assists customers to manage their modem, home network and related settings. The App is available to download through Google Play Store for Android devices and App Store for iOS devices. There is no additional cost for the App however mobile data is required at your own cost when used outside of your home internet service. By signing up to the App, you agree to the My Internet Connect terms and conditions. For personal use in Australia only. Subject to change.
Network Satisfaction Guarantee
If you’re a new customer and you’ve signed up to any new postpaid mobile, mobile broadband or Home Internet plan and you don't love our network within the first 30 days of sign-up, or in the case of a Vodafone nbn® or Vision plan within the first 30 days of service activation, you’re welcome to cancel by calling 1300 551 198 (excludes upgrades and rate plan changes). You will only have to pay for those services you’ve used or for charges incurred, that are not included in your plan, up until your number or nbn® or Vision service is fully transferred and return your device or modem and equipment in original packaging with proof of purchase returned to a Vodafone (not dealer) store within 10 days of your claim. Where you have an individual plan, you can make one claim per year per person. Accessories Payment Plan
Accessories may be purchased on an Accessory Payment Plan (APP) over 12, 24 or 36 months duration (Commitment Period). The outright price of your chosen accessory (as set by Vodafone at your time of purchase) will be spread in equal instalments over your chosen Commitment Period. Once chosen, your Commitment Period is fixed (unless you elect to pay your total remaining balance in full in one instalment). APP is only available to eligible customers who connect (and remain connected to) an active and eligible Postpaid Plan (Eligible Plan) and must agree to and pass a credit check. If you cancel your Eligible Plan or your APP, your APP will also automatically cancel and 100% of remaining APP instalments plus any outstanding charges on your Eligible Plan will be applied to your next bill. Accessory Payment Plan Discount (APP Discount)
Accessory Payment Plan Discount (APP Discount) is a discount off the eligible accessory RRP when purchased with or added to an eligible plan. Accessory may include a smart watch or other accessory, depending on specific offer. APP Discount is available to eligible customers who (i) purchase the accessory on an Accessory Payment Plan (APP) over 12,24 and 36 months (Repayment Period), (ii) sign up to or have an existing eligible Postpaid plan (Eligible Plan) and stay connected, and lastly (iii) agree to and pass a credit check. Not eligible for customers purchasing an accessory outright.
The APP Discount will apply for the length of your chosen APP Repayment Period. If you cancel or disconnect your Eligible Plan, or cancel your APP, before the end of your Repayment Period, your APP Discount will be forfeited for the remainder of your Repayment Period, and you must pay out your accessory on your next bill at the undiscounted rate (i.e. 100% of remaining APP repayments at full RRP x months remaining). Optional Mobile Backup feature
This optional feature is available with purchase of the Vodafone Super Wi-Fi Modem. It allows you to configure the Modem to connect to a mobile hotspot network from your mobile phone and automatically use your mobile data during an nbn® service outage. The feature requires use of your mobile data at your own cost. Check the data allowance and terms of use of your mobile service to ensure it is compatible with use of this feature. Speeds, availability and performance of the Mobile Backup feature are dependent on the capabilities and limitations of your mobile phone, mobile network coverage and plan speeds offered by your mobile data plan provider.
Vodafone 5G Home Internet Modem
It is a requirement of the 5G Home Internet Plan that you must use the Vodafone provided 5G compatible modem (‘Modem’). There is no option to purchase the Modem outright or on a monthly payment plan. You cannot bring your own modem or purchase one outright from Vodafone and sign up to a Vodafone 5G Home Internet Plan. Vodafone retains ownership of the Modem and it must be returned to us within 30 days of cancelling your plan. If you cancel your plan within 36 months of connecting, and do not return the Modem within 30 days of cancellation of your plan, then you may be charged a Modem Non-Return Fee. See “Early Exit Fees and Modem Non-Return Fees” in your Plan Details for information on the Modem NonReturn Fee if your Plan is cancelled before 36 months. You must have a valid Vodafone SIM inserted in your Modem. The Vodafone SIM must not be removed from the Modem or used in another device. The SIM is locked to the Modem and will not work with other devices. Professional installation is not provided, so you must self-install the Modem to access the service by following the instructions provided. Modem can operate with a maximum of 64 compatible Wi-Fi enabled devices at any one time (up to 32 enabled devices on 2.4GHz connection, up to 32 enabled devices on 5GHz connection). Consult your device manual to determine if your Wi-Fi enabled device can connect to Wi-Fi via 2.4GHz and/or 5GHz connections. You can connect up to 3 wired devices using the 3 Ethernet ports.
