Vodafone announces Handset Vouchers worth up to $1200 with new SIM Promo Plans
Wednesday, 8 December 2021 – Vodafone is offering huge savings on its most popular mobile phones from Apple and Samsung with the launch of a new handset voucher model that will give customers up to a $1200 discount when they sign up to eligible plans.
Arriving just in time for Christmas, the new SIM Promo Plans delivers 200GB of Max Speed Data and are available on 12 and 24-month contracts. The $99 24-month plan offers a $1200 handset voucher for the outright purchase of an eligible handset, and the $89 12-month offers a voucher of $400.
This means that, for example, eligible customers who connect to the 24-month SIM Promo Plan for $99/month can get the iPhone 13 128GB (RRP$1349) upfront for just $149.
For a limited time only, Vodafone is taking $300 off the RRP of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. When coupled with the $1200 handset voucher, customers can get the Flip 3 for $0 upfront when they connect to the 24-month SIM Promo Plan. For the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G 128GB (RRP$1249), an eligible customer who connects to the 24-month SIM Promo Plan for $99/month can get this device upfront for just $49.
Vodafone’s two new SIM Promo Plans are as follows:
- 24-month contract for $99/month, with 200GB of Max Speed Data and a $1200 handset voucher (Total min cost excl. device cost = $2376.00).
- 12-month contract for $89/month, with 200GB of Max Speed Data and a $400 handset voucher (Total min cost excl. device cost = $1068.00).
Devices eligible to be purchased with the SIM Only Promo Plans include:
- iPhone 13 family
- iPhone 12 (excludes iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max)
- Samsung Galaxy S21 family
- Samsung Galaxy Fold 3/Flip 3
All plans include 200GB of Max Speed data, then infinite data at speeds of up to 1.5Mbps in Australia. Customers will also receive unlimited standard national calls and texts, 1000 minutes of Zone 1 international calls, $5 international roaming, and eligibility to Vodafone’s 30-Day Network Satisfaction Guarantee.
