Vodafone partners with PlayStation® in Australia
Partnership will deliver PlayStation®5 to eligible customers by Christmas
Vodafone Australia and Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia today announce an exciting new partnership in time for the upcoming launch of PlayStation®5(PS5®™).
To kick off the new partnership, Vodafone will offer a limited number of PS5 consoles for sale. Customers with two or more eligible services¹ can purchase a new PS5 console² on an interest free plan over 12, 24 or 36 months through Vodafone’s Customer Care channel from 12 November.
Customers can select from the PlayStation 5 console (RRP $749.95) or the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (RRP $599.95). Vodafone will also be ranging the DualSense Wireless Controller (RRP $109.95) and the Media Remote (RRP $49.95).³
Vodafone General Manager of Products and Devices, Arthur Panos said the partnership is an exciting move for Vodafone to expand its offerings to customers.
“We are excited about partnering with PlayStation Australia to offer our customers the chance to get the hotly anticipated PlayStation 5 through Vodafone before Christmas,” he said.
“In the future the partnership with Sony will play a key role in helping Vodafone expand its product lines that directly interface with existing telecommunication services. Coupled with one of our Vodafone nbn services, Sony’s gaming products can open up endless educational, recreational and communication possibilities for our customers and we’re looking forward to seeing it come to life.”
The PlayStation®5 will be available for eligible customers to order through Vodafone’s Customer Care line on 1300 728 637 from 12 November, while stocks last.
Customers will be able to collect their PlayStation®5 by appointment from their local Vodafone store by 15 December. T&C apply.
