Bundle & Save
Bundle & Save discounts are available to (a) new customers who connect two or more Eligible Plans on the same billing account; OR (b) existing customers with an Eligible Plan who: add one or more eligible services to their billing account or who upgrade or switch an ineligible Plan to an Eligible Plan; OR (c) existing customers who have two Eligible Plans.
Eligible Plans are: All Postpaid voice plans of $30 and above released on or after July 25 2018 (excluding Assured Plan, Business Flex Plans and BYOD Plans); Tablet Plans of $30 and above released on or after June 27 2018; Modem Plans of $20 and above released on or after July 2 2020; Vodafone Infinite Data Plans. Excludes nbn® Plans, 4G Home Internet Plans and 5G Home Internet Plans.
Customers will receive a percentage discount off each Eligible Plan’s access fees (5% off two plans, 10% off three plans, 15% off four plans or 20% off five or more plans) when active on a single billing account. Note MPP, APP or Add-On fees are not discounted. The Bundle & Save discount is calculated from the first full bill cycle and updated monthly as eligible services are added or removed. Any second service discounts are replaced by the applicable Bundle & Save discount. If early exit fees apply to an Eligible Plan they are calculated using the undiscounted amount x months remaining. $5 Roaming
Countries subject to change, see current list and full details. Available to eligible customers, see terms for details specific to your plan. $5 Daily Charge is in addition to minimum monthly spend and allows you to use your plan’s inclusions in Eligible Countries for $5 per day. For all plans with an included data allowance, only included data allowance can be accessed while $5 Roaming. Data capped at speeds up to 1.5, 2, 10 or 25Mbps is not accessible while $5 Roaming. Once your included data is exhausted, additional data will be automatically added at a charge of $5/GB ($0.005/MB) (“Additional Roaming Data”). Additional Roaming Data expires at the end of your next billing period, is shareable (excludes plans with unlimited data which do not share data) and can only be used while in $5 Roaming countries. Black Friday NBN Speed Upgrade for first three months
Eligible customers ordering a new Vodafone nbn® service between 14th November and 28th November 2023 will have a temporary Speed Upgrade applied to their service. The Speed Upgrade will be applied within one week of activating the service and will remain on the service for three months (the Speed Upgrade period). Activation must occur by 12th December 2023 to be eligible. The Speed Upgrade is a temporary upgrade to the next available nbn® speed tier. The Speed Upgrade involves an increase to the maximum theoretical off-peak speed for your plan. The actual speeds you experience will vary based on a number of factors, including technology type, plan choice and internet traffic demand.
There is no additional cost for the Speed upgrade. If you cancel, change plan or change location during the Speed Upgrade period, the Speed Upgrade will no longer be applicable. The Speed Upgrade will appear on the bill as an Add on with no charge. After the Speed Upgrade period your speed upgrade will be removed and you will go back to the nbn® speed tier you originally ordered. There will be no changes to what you pay. If you enjoy the Speed Upgrade, you can call us or use the MyVodafone app to change your rate plan to the higher nbn® speed tier after the Speed Upgrade Period. From that time you will be charged for the new plan.
Eligibility for the speed upgrade is subject to technology and line speed capability at your address. Availability is subject to a service qualification check which we will perform when you request to sign-up. The technology used to deliver the nbn® Service will depend on the connection between your premises and the nbn® Network which includes: (1) Fibre to the Premises (‘FTTP’); (2) Fibre to the Node (‘FTTN’); (3) Fibre to the Building (‘FTTB’); (4) Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (‘HFC’); (5) Fibre to the Curb (FTTC). Your technology type will be explained when you sign-up. FTTC, FTTN or FTTB connection may only access Home Essential, Home Essential+ and nbn® Home Fast. High Speed plans (Home Superfast and Home Ultrafast) are only available on HFC and FTTP connections. The following categories of new customers are not eligible for Speed Upgrade:
· FTTC, FTTN or FTTB connections connecting to Home Fast, as this is the highest available nbn® speed tier for those technology types.
· FTTC, FTTN or FTTB connections where the max attainable line speed is not capable of supporting the next highest nbn® speed tier. These customers will have the Speed Upgrade applied to their account, but will not receive the benefit, or the full benefit, of the higher maximum speed if it exceeds the max attainable line speed at their address. For example, a customer purchasing nbn®50 will not be eligible for the Speed Upgrade offer, and will not receive any benefit from it, if their max attainable line speed is 50Mbps. A customer purchasing nbn®50 will receive a partial benefit from the Speed Upgrade offer if their max attainable line speed is 75Mbps, as they will be temporarily upgraded to nbn® Home Fast but unable to achieve the maximum speed on that plan. Customers in this category will have a credit of three times the difference between the plan they ordered and the next higher plan applied to their account if they are found not to be eligible for the Speed Upgrade once we receive this information from nbn® after activation.
· FTTP or HFC connections connecting to Home Ultrafast, as this is the highest available nbn® speed tier.
Maximum Attainable Speeds
If you’re connecting to the nbn® using FTTB/N/C technologies, we’ll check your max attainable line speed once we receive this information from nbn® after activation. The max attainable speed check will be carried out against the nbn® speed tier you have ordered, rather than the next highest nbn® speed tier temporarily available with the Speed Upgrade offer. If the max line speed at your address doesn’t support the speed tier of the plan you’ve chosen, we’ll let you know, and give you the option to a) remain on your current plan with no refund; b) move to a lower speed plan of your choice and receive a refund to reflect the difference between the plan you have paid for and the closest plan your max attainable line speed can support (if you are already on the lowest speed plan you do not have this option). No plan change fee will apply if you choose this option; or c) cancel your plan at no cost and receive a refund of the price difference between the plan you have paid for and the closest plan your max attainable line speed can support (if you are already on the lowest speed plan, you may exit without cost, and you will receive a full refund of fees paid to date). In some circumstances, we may automatically change your plan to a lower speed tier that’s more suitable to you, and provide you with a proportionate refund as well (however, we will let you know about this in advance).
Device Discount
Device Discount is a discount off the device RRP and is only available to eligible new and upgrading customers who purchase a device with a device repayment period of 12, 24 or 36 months, and sign up or upgrade, and stay connected to an eligible Consumer Postpaid Mobile Plan (‘Eligible Plan’). Device Discounts vary depending on the device (as advertised), and some Device Discounts may only be available when you stay connected to an Eligible Plan over 24 or 36 months (ie. some Device Discounts may not be available for a repayment period of 12 months). Not applicable for customers purchasing a device outright. The Device Discount will apply for the length of your chosen device repayment period (12/24/36 months). If you cancel your plan or your device repayment, your Device Discount will be forfeited, and you must pay out your device on your next bill at the undiscounted rate (i.e. 100% of remaining device repayments at full RRP x months remaining). Device Discount will not be forfeited if you rate plan change but will be forfeited if you change to an ineligible plan, such as a SIM Only plan. Your monthly device repayments may vary depending on your chosen repayment period (12/24/36 months) and are applied as a monthly recurring credit against the device repayment. Device Discount is subject to change and not a permanent offer. You can only have one Device Discount per service at any one time. After your device repayment period has ended, your Device Discount will also end but your monthly plan costs will remain. Offer available in conjunction with other offers.
