Automatic Recharge for your prepaid service
You can save your credit or debit card, or PayPal account to opt-in for Automatic Recharge. By saving your card or PayPal account, you authorise Vodafone to use these details to perform an Automatic Recharge when your current prepaid plan expires. The plan you will be Auto Recharged on will be the same plan as your most recent recharge, and you can opt-out at any time.
After you opt-in to Automatic Recharge, you’ll get $5 off your $30 and above Prepaid Plus or Prepaid Mobile Broadband each time it automatically recharges. Otherwise you’ll get 30GB Extra Data on every Automatic Recharge made with $30 to $60 Combo Plus or 1GB Extra Data on every Automatic Recharge made with Pay and Go, MyMix, Talk n Text, Prepaid Cap plans, $10 Prepaid Mobile Broadband and $10 or $20 Prepaid Plus and Combo Plus. How to opt-in and out of Automatic Recharge.
You can opt-in to Automatic Recharge by saving your card or PayPal account upon activation or through My Vodafone, or by texting ‘ATR’ to 1263.
You can opt-out of Automatic Recharge through My Vodafone or by texting ‘NO ATR’ to 1263. Opting out of Automatic Recharge won’t remove your saved card or PayPal account so you can recharge via SMS or online.
How much will I pay when I Automatically Recharge with Prepaid Plus?
You will get $5 off every Automatic Recharge on $30 and above Prepaid Plus.

If you recharge mid cycle, your Automatic Recharge cycle will begin again on the date you’ve just recharged on.
If you recharge mid cycle on an eligible Prepaid Plus or Combo Plus, up to 200GB unused My Data will be added to your Data Bank and your Automatic Recharge cycle will begin again on the date you’ve just recharged on.
If you recharge mid cycle on an eligible Prepaid Mobile Broadband plan, up to 50GB of unused included data will roll over once into your next recharge period and your Automatic Recharge cycle will begin again on the date you've just recharged on.
Yes. You can change your prepaid plan. Automatic Recharge will remain active. If you change your plan mid cycle, your Automatic Recharge cycle will begin again on the date you’ve just recharged on. The plan you will be Auto Recharged on will be the same plan as your most recent recharge.
If you recharge mid cycle to a different plan, your Automatic Recharge cycle will begin again on the date you’ve just recharged on with your new plan. The plan you will be Auto Recharged on will be the same plan as your most recent recharge.
If you recharge mid cycle between two eligible Prepaid Plus or Combo Plus plans, up to 200GB unused My Data will be added to your Data Bank and your Automatic Recharge cycle will begin again on the date you’ve just recharged on. The plan you will be Auto Recharged on will be the same plan as your most recent recharge.
If multiple services are using your credit card or PayPal account, the users of those services are authorised to opt-in to Automatic Recharge by texting ‘ATR’ to 1263.
If you unlink your credit card or PayPal account from a service, then Automatic Recharge will be deactivated for that service.
You can view your Automatic Recharge details, including the opt-in date and your current prepaid plan, by texting ‘status ATR’ to 1263.
If your card or PayPal payment is declined for an Automatic Recharge, we’ll send you an SMS if you’re on a phone plan or email if you’re on a mobile broadband plan notifying you.
You may need to update your card or PayPal account details through My Vodafone and unless you have insufficient funds, you’ll then be opted-in to Automatic Recharge with those new details.
