Your prepaid plan is changing on 7 November 2024

At Vodafone, we're committed to simplifying our product range to help improve customer experiences.  As such, we're phasing out our older legacy prepaid plans still in operation, and moving customers to the nearest suitable plan, as currently available on our website, and summarised in the below tables.

The following prepaid plans will no longer be available for recharge from 7 November 2024: 

  • Combo 
  • Combo Plus
  • Talk Combo
  • Prepaid Cap 
  • MyMix 
  • 365 Day

The $70 and $125 recharges on Vodafone mobile broadband plans will also no longer be available for recharge from 7 November 2024.

What do I need to do?

Your current recharge will remain in effect until it has expired. For recharges from 7 November 2024:

  • If you're an Automatic Recharge customer, we'll move you to the nearest suitable plan, as set out in the SMS notice we sent to you. You don't need to do anything to remain on this new plan. Your next Automatic Recharge from 7 November will reflect this new plan price and inclusions.

If you wish to opt-out of Automatic Recharge, you can SMS 'No ATR' to 1263. Or to change your recharge plan, go to myaccount.myvodafone.com.au

  • If you’re not an Automatic Recharge customer, from 7 November, you'll need to select a new plan at your next recharge, as your current plan will no longer be available. You'll be prompted to select your new plan when you recharge, via our website or the My Vodafone app. You can also call us to change your plan. To assist, we've recommended the nearest suitable plan in the SMS notice we sent you. 

Please note, your international call allowance, call rates, and other inclusions will be different on this new plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which plans will no longer be available for recharge from 7 November?

Combo, Combo Plus, Talk Combo, Prepaid Cap, MyMix and 365 Day.

To check your current plan and inclusions, log in to My Vodafone, or the My Vodafone app. You can also call us on 1300 650 410, or on 1555 from your Vodafone mobile.

What if I no longer want my Automatic Recharge after 7 November?

If you wish to opt-out of automatic recharge, you can SMS 'No ATR' to 1263. Or to change your recharge plan, go to myaccount.myvodafone.com.au

I'm on a prepaid mobile broadband plan. Which plan do I move to?

The $70 and $125 mobile broadband plans will no longer be available for recharge from 7 November. Your current recharge will remain in effect until it has expired. From 7 November, you can select one of our new prepaid mobile broadband plans when you next recharge.

Your prepaid mobile broadband included data will automatically roll over when you recharge one of our prepaid mobile broadband plans, up to a maximum of 50GB per the terms. For more information on these plans, refer to our

What if I have an unused recharge voucher for mobile or mobile broadband?

If you have a valid unused recharge voucher for $10, $20, $25, $28, $29, $30, $35, $40, $45, $49, $50, $55 or $150, you’ll still be able to use this voucher with the nearest suitable plan at no additional charge, for a period of 12 months from 7 November.

For example, if you have a $28 voucher, the nearest suitable plan is $35 Prepaid Plus or Pay and Go. This means you will receive all the inclusions available on the $35 plan for $28. You will be advised of the nearest suitable plan at the time of recharging with your old unused valid voucher.

If you have a valid recharge voucher for $15, $18, $38, $57, $60, $65, $68, $70, $75, $80, $85, $90, $95, $100, $105 and $110, you'll need to contact us on 1300 650 410, or 1555 from your Vodafone mobile. We'll assist you in recharging, using your voucher and applying the relevant voucher amount to your account. You will also be prompted to call us when you attempt to select your new plan.

What happens if I am in my current recharge?

Your current recharge and plan inclusions will remain in effect until your current recharge has expired.

What if I’m a 365 Day customer, with Vodafone-to-Vodafone minutes remaining?

We'll be changing any remaining Vodafone-to-Vodafone minutes that you have on your plan to National Mobile Vodafone-to-any Standard National Mobile Talk minutes. This change will apply until the end of your current 365 Day recharge.

What happens to My Credit and Add-Ons? 

You'll be able to continue to purchase My Credit and Add-Ons on your current recharge. However, from 7 November 2024, you won't be able to top up your My Credit or Add-Ons until you have selected and recharged on your new plan. 

What happens with my current inclusions when I move to my new plan?

I'm on Combo Plus and Combo Talk, and I'm changing to: 

  • Prepaid Plus: up to 200GB unused data will be added to your Data Rollover when you recharge before expiry. Other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms. Unused My Credit is not affected. 
  • Pay and Go: other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms. You’ll lose any saved data and access to your Data Rollover. 

I’m on MyMix, and I'm changing to: 

  • Prepaid Plus: other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms. Unused My Credit is not affected.
  • Pay and Go: other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms. Unused My Credit is not affected.

I'm on 365 Day, and I'm changing to: 

  • Prepaid Plus: other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms.
  • Pay and Go: flexible credit will roll over and will be used first. Other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms. 

I'm on a Prepaid Cap, and I'm changing to: 

  • Prepaid Plus: other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms.
  • Pay and Go: other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms. 

I'm on Combo and I'm changing to: 

  • Prepaid Plus: other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms. Unused My Credit is not affected. 
  • Pay and Go: other unused inclusions will expire at the end of your recharge per the terms.

Will my international calling rates change?

If you're a Prepaid Cap or 365 Day customer, your international rates will change. 

If you're a Combo, Combo Plus, Talk Combo or My Mix customer, and you move to Prepaid Plus, your international rates stay the same.

If you're a Combo, Combo Plus, Talk Combo or My Mix customer, and you move to Pay and Go, your international rates will change.
