Get your modem ready
Depending on what’s available at your new address, we’ll either send you a new modem or let you know if you can take your current one.
Leave the connection box behind
The nbn® box is fixed to the property. It should stay at your old address.
Plug in your modem
Once your service is active at your new home, plug in your modem – then you’re good to go.
If your current service is unavailable at your new address, then you might be eligible for another connection type. Use our address checker to see what we offer at your new address.
If you choose to cancel your existing service, an early termination fee won’t apply. However, if you have a modem with your service, you may need to pay out the remaining cost if you’re still in your device period.
There’s no fee to transfer your service to a new address. If there’s any additional installation charges, we’ll let you know.
