Get your modem ready

Depending on what’s available at your new address, we’ll either send you a new modem or let you know if you can take your current one.

Leave the connection box behind

The nbn® box is fixed to the property. It should stay at your old address.

Plug in your modem

Once your service is active at your new home, plug in your modem – then you’re good to go.

What happens if my current service isn’t available at my new address?

If your current service is unavailable at your new address, then you might be eligible for another connection type. Use our address checker to see what we offer at your new address. 

If you choose to cancel your existing service, an early termination fee won’t apply. However, if you have a modem with your service, you may need to pay out the remaining cost if you’re still in your device period. 

Is there a cost to change my Vodafone service to a new address?

There’s no fee to transfer your service to a new address. If there’s any additional installation charges, we’ll let you know. 

Will there be a disruption to my home internet service?

We don’t expect there will be any disruption to your service as you move. We’ll let you know if you need an installation appointment at your new address. If you run into any issues, contact us and we can help troubleshoot your connection.
