How to recharge your prepaid Mobile Broadband service.

The best way to recharge your prepaid Mobile Broadband service is through My Vodafone or Express Recharge. You can access these pages without using your data.

You can also recharge:

  • By sending an SMS to 1511 with a relevant code and using your saved credit/debit card or your My Credit balance.
  • By calling 1300 650 410.

Our mobile broadband recharges and inclusions

Recharging over the phone.

When you recharge by calling 1300 650 410 you’ll need to enter your Mobile Broadband number and your 4 digit enquiry PIN. Check our support page for help finding your prepaid Mobile Broadband number.

Can I opt-in to automatic recharge?

Yes. You can opt-in to Automatic Recharge by saving your credit card. On your prepaid plan's expiry date, you’ll be Auto Recharged on the same plan as your most recent recharge. For more information, check out our automatic recharge support page.

How to pay for your recharge.

There are several payments methods you can use for your recharge.

You can recharge any of our prepaid recharge options with:

  • VISA
  • MasterCard
  • American Express

By saving your credit card, you’ll be opted-in to Automatic Recharge. Paying with an unsaved credit card incurs a $1 card verification fee, which is then reversed within 7 days.

To help protect against credit card fraud, spend limits apply to credit card recharges made online and over the phone.

You can get a voucher from over 20,000 outlets across Australia, including:

  • Vodafone stores
  • Supermarkets
  • Service stations
  • Newsagents
  • Convenience stores

You can redeem a voucher online with Express Recharge and My Vodafone, by SMS or over the phone using the 12 digit PIN.

You can use your PayPal account to recharge online via Express Recharge or My Vodafone.

You’ll need to be signed up for PayPal and have sufficient funds in your PayPal account to pay for your recharge.

Once your recharge has been completed your prepaid account balance will be updated and ready to use within 5 to 15 minutes.

You can use your available My Credit balance to recharge your service through My Vodafone.

What happens to my prepaid Mobile Broadband service if I don’t recharge?

If you don’t recharge for 395 days since the last time you recharged, your service will be disconnected.

Terms and conditions

Mobile Broadband Prepaid Recharges
Credit expires after 30 days unless you recharge in that time. Unused data inclusions will rollover when you recharge before your expiry. Unused data inclusions will only rollover once into your next recharge period, and will be available for use until expiry of current recharge. Any unused rolled over data will be forfeited. For use in Australia only. Usage is calculated in per KB increments. Included data only for use in Australia on Vodafone’s network. Pricing subject to change.

Broadband service
You can use Vodafone 4G in our 4G areas. 4G in selected areas in Australia. You get broadband speeds in our 3G areas. Check your device is compatible to the coverage areas you will use. Actual speeds vary due to things like device capability, location & network congestion. See our coverage checker.

Automatic Recharge Bonus Data Offer
Bonus data only for every automatic recharge completed successfully via credit card or debit card. Bonus data amount is an additional 1GB of data allowance. Unused bonus data will not rollover. Offer subject to change.
