Meet the members of Vodafone Australia’s Executive Team.
Iñaki Berroeta joined Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) as Chief Executive Officer in 2014. A 20-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Iñaki previously served as CEO of both Vodafone Romania and Vodafone Malta, and held various operational roles at Vodafone Spain, Global Star USA, AirTouch International Inc. (USA), Airtile Moviles (Spain) and Keon (Spain and USA). Iñaki holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Bilbao Superior School of Telecommunications Engineering, Spain, and a Master of Business Administration from Henley Management College, UK.
Loo Fun Chee joined VHA as Chief Marketing Officer in 2015. In her role, Loo Fun is responsible for prepay, postpay, mobile data, digital, segment and brand marketing. Before VHA, Loo Fun was at Globe Telecom in the Philippines where she was Head of Consumer Marketing. Originally from Malaysia, Loo Fun has also worked for Maxis Communications Berhad in a range of marketing roles. Before that she spent almost a decade at JWT in Malaysia, working on a range of international brands including Citibank, Unilever and Nestle.
Trent Czinner has been General Counsel of VHA since December 2013 and Company Secretary since November 2015. Trent is responsible for VHA's legal, company secretarial and corporate security functions and leads a team of expert lawyers and analysts who provide advice on a wide range of legal matters across the business. Trent has worked as a telecoms and technology lawyer since 1998, when he was employed as Legal Manager for Hutchison Telecoms Australia. He spent the following 13 years working as a senior lawyer for Hutchison Whampoa's telecoms businesses in Australia and Europe. From 2011 to 2013, Trent ran the legal function for salesforce.com in Australia and NZ. Trent started his legal career as a litigator.
Errol Van Graan joined VHA as the Director of Customer Service in 2015. Errol is responsible for all aspects of VHA’s customer service functions, including customer service strategy, customer experience, business demand & program delivery, billing, process excellence, enablement of our digital channels and the operations of our contact centres. Errol has extensive experience in customer care and operations with Vodacom South Africa, Vodafone Romania and Telstra. Originally from South Africa, Errol holds a Degree in Cost and Management Accounting from Cape Peninsula University, a Diploma in Retail Management from Damelin Management School and is a graduate of the Advanced Executive Program of University of South Africa.
Kevin has responsibility for the Vodafone network and technology. He joined Vodafone in 2013 as General Manager Access Network Delivery, with responsibility for the rollout of network upgrade and expansion projects including the Mobile Black Spot Programme and EJV site delivery. Prior to Vodafone, Kevin was Head of Cornerstone for a network infrastructure partnership between Vodafone UK and O2, and Regional Operations Director at Vodafone UK where he led the development of the company’s 3G capability and oversaw the deployment of 3,500 sites. He also previously held senior network roles at Ericsson Telecommunications and Cellnet. Kevin has over 30 years’ experience in the mobile telecommunications industry.
Stuart Kelly joined VHA as Executive General Manager Enterprise in 2015 to lead VHA’s Business Unit. Before VHA, Stuart was Vice President at Singtel Optus Australia. Working in emerging markets for large parts of his career, as well as in established markets in Europe and Australia, Stuart has previously served as CEO of Bemobile Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands and was Regional Sales and Distribution Director for Digicel Pacific where he was responsible for all Sales and Distribution activity across the Pacific. Stuart was raised and educated in Ireland and has a Degree in Marketing from MII-Ireland.
Dan Lloyd joined VHA as Chief Strategy Officer and Corporate Affairs Director in 2014. Dan’s areas of responsibility cover company strategy, public policy, corporate affairs and inter-carrier. Dan previously served in a number of global leadership roles with Vodafone Group including Director of Public Policy for Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Vodafone India’s Head of Regulatory, and a range of global strategy, business development and governance roles. Before joining Vodafone, Dan was a Senior Associate at Sydney commercial law firm Gilbert & Tobin. Dan has Honours degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Sydney, and has lived, worked or studied in 11 countries.
James Marsh joined VHA as Chief Financial Officer in 2013. Before VHA, he was CFO at Vodafone New Zealand from 2006. James has worked within the Vodafone Group since February 2000. He has held a number of financial reporting and analysis roles in Group, including overseeing financial operations in Spain, and as Head of Reporting and Analysis across the wider European Region. From 1995 to 2000, James was a Senior Auditor and Audit Manager for Arthur Anderson in England. James started his career in the finance industry as an auditor in 1992, after achieving joint honours in mathematics and economics at the University of Nottingham.
Ben McIntosh joined VHA as Director of Sales in 2014 and is responsible for all consumer sales, company owned retail stores, dealer partners and retail partners. Ben is also responsible for the relationship between VHA and device manufacturers, all sales operations and channel marketing for all sales channels. Before joining VHA, Ben spent 17 years at Harvey Norman as General Manager, Technology and Entertainment Retail.
Michael Stanley joined VHA as Director of Human Resources in 2014 and has responsibility for talent acquisition & management, people performance & alignment, organisational change, development & learning and organisational effectiveness. Michael also chairs the Vodafone Hutchison Australia Foundation. Before this role, Michael was the HR Director, Vodafone Group Commercial (UK) from 2012. He was instrumental in setting up the global Group Enterprise Business Unit and overseeing the HR integration of the Cable & Wireless Worldwide enterprise employees. Between 2007 and 2012 he was the HR Director, Vodafone New Zealand.
