Meet the members of Vodafone Australia’s Executive Team.
Iñaki Berroeta joined TPG Telecom (Vodafone) as Chief Executive Officer in 2014. A 20-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Iñaki previously served as CEO of both Vodafone Romania and Vodafone Malta, and held various operational roles at Vodafone Spain, Global Star USA, AirTouch International Inc. (USA), Airtile Moviles (Spain) and Keon (Spain and USA). Iñaki holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Bilbao Superior School of Telecommunications Engineering, Spain, and a Master of Business Administration from Henley Management College, UK.
Trent Czinner was appointed General Counsel of Vodafone in December 2013 and Company Secretary in November 2015. Leading a team of lawyers and analysts, Trent is responsible for Vodafone's legal, company secretarial and corporate security functions. Trent has worked as a telecoms and technology lawyer since 1998 when he was employed as Legal Manager for Hutchison Telecoms Australia. He spent the following 13 years working as a senior lawyer for Hutchison Whampoa's telecoms businesses in Australia and Europe. From 2011 to 2013, Trent ran the legal function for salesforce.com in Australia and NZ. Trent was named on the Doyle’s Guide list of leading Australian In-House Technology, Media and Telecommunications Lawyers in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and the GC Powerlist: Australia and New Zealand in 2016.
Ana Bordeianu joined Vodafone as Customer Operations Director in 2018. Ana is responsible for all aspects of Vodafone’s customer service functions including customer service strategy, customer experience, billing credit & collections and contact centre operations. In February 2020, Ana added the consumer sales function to her portfolio as Chief Customer Officer.
Ana has extensive experience in customer care and operations. Originally joining Vodafone in February 2003, Ana has held a number of senior leadership roles across customer relations, customer operations and customer experience both in Romania and Qatar.
Originally from Romania, Ana has studied Political Sciences and holds a degree in Psychology from Bucharest Spiru Haret University.
Barry Kezik, General Manager Networks, assumed the responsibilities of Chief Network Officer in February 2020. Barry joined Vodafone as General Manager Network Engineering and Planning in 2011.
Since joining Vodafone, Barry has played a key role in delivering new technology in Australia. He has been a leader in major network projects including Vodafone's fixed broadband launch, the company’s network virtualisation program and the development of Vodafone’s path to 5G.
Before Vodafone, Barry held a number of senior network roles in Ericsson and Hutchison Telecoms.
Dan Lloyd joined Vodafone as Chief Strategy Officer and Corporate Affairs Director in 2014. Dan’s areas of responsibility cover company strategy, public policy, corporate affairs and inter-carrier. Dan previously served in a number of global leadership roles with Vodafone Group including Director of Public Policy for Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Vodafone India’s Head of Regulatory, and a range of global strategy, business development and governance roles. Before joining Vodafone, Dan was a Senior Associate at Sydney commercial law firm Gilbert & Tobin. Dan has Honours degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Sydney, and has lived, worked or studied in 11 countries.
Sean Crowley was appointed acting Vodafone Chief Financial Officer in July 2018. Previously, Sean held the role of General Manager Finance Business Partnering with responsibility for commercial and financial priorities. Prior to joining Vodafone in 2014, Sean held a number of senior finance positions within Vodafone Group in local markets and Group functions, with a range of governance, business intelligence and partnership responsibilities. Sean is a member of the Chartered Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Vanessa Hicks joined Vodafone in 2006 and was appointed Director of Human Resources in 2017. Vanessa has served in several senior roles within the company, including General Manager of Business Customer Operations and General Manager Human Resources. Vanessa is responsible for all Human Resources functions including organisational culture, leadership programs and occupational health and safety. Vanessa also served as Chairperson of the Vodafone Foundation from 2010 to 2014, and remains an active member of the board. Prior to Vodafone, Vanessa was Director at First Choice Solutions and National Contact Manager for ING. Vanessa holds an Advanced Diploma in Commerce and Advanced Diploma in Management from TAFE NSW and is currently completing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.
