I’m already with Vodafone, can I change my plan?

Yes. You can change your plan once per billing cycle. For information, check out our support page.

Can I save if I have multiple plans under one account?

Yes. You can bundle eligible plans under one account and save from 5% to 20% on plan fees until 16/08/25 when this offer will end. T&C apply.

Can I share data from my Vodafone Infinite Plans with other Vodafone plans?

Yes. Data sharing is available with up to 10 services and only the included data is shareable with other Vodafone Infinite (excluding Ultra+ Plan), Vodafone BYOD plans or Plus Plans. Excludes data capped at speeds up to 1.5, 2, 10 or 25Mbps. Data is for use in Australia. T&C apply.

Can I trade-in my old phone or tablet?

Yes. If your old phone or tablet is eligible for trade-in, you could earn credit which is applied to your selected Vodafone service when you stay connected over 12, 24 or 36 months.

Here’s how to trade-in your device.

  1. Trade-in credit estimate
    Head to our trade-in page and enter the device you’d like to trade-in to check eligibility and to get a trade-in credit estimate.
  2. Device condition assessment
    When you have your new device and after you’ve obtained a credit estimate, we’ll ask questions about the condition of your device you’d like to trade-in.
  3. Trade ID information email
    Once you’ve completed the device assessment, we’ll send you a Trade ID information email with your estimated trade-in credit.
  4. Head to Australia Post or a Vodafone store
    Within 14 days, take your trade-in device and Trade ID information email to a Vodafone store or mail your device to Asurion at an Australia Post office.
Can I call overseas if I’m on a phone plan?

What is an eSIM and why should I use it?

An eSIM, as opposed to a physical SIM, is a SIM that’s already embedded into selected mobile phones and tablets and allows you to use up to 5 different plans on the same device.

For example, you’ll be able to use one plan for business and another plan for personal use. For more on how to manage your eSIM, check out our support page.

Why should I get mobile broadband?

With mobile broadband, you’ll be able to connect your devices to the internet, when you’re out and about. To see where Vodafone has mobile coverage, check out our coverage checker.

When you sign up to a mobile broadband plan, you’ll be issued with a multi-fit SIM card.

You could insert the SIM into a modem to connect to Wi-Fi only devices including Wi-Fi tablets, video game consoles, and portable music players. You’ll then connect these devices to the modem through Wi-Fi.

Alternatively, if your device accepts a SIM card, you can insert the SIM directly into the device to use the data from your mobile broadband plan.

Vodafone Infinite Plans
Vodafone Infinite Plans are only available if you simultaneously purchase a phone from Vodafone under a Mobile Payment Plan (‘MPP’) of 12, 24 or 36 months duration (“Commitment Period”). For personal use by approved customers only. Inclusions expire after 1 month unless otherwise stated. Plan excludes Premium Services, 1223, & 1225 directory services, 123 Ask-Us-Anything, International Roaming, content purchases, call screen and charges for additional data and additional standard international calls.  

Minimum monthly spend is $53, $63 or $73. Must connect for minimum one month. Total minimum cost is one month of your plan fees plus 100% of the MPP instalments of your chosen device. If you choose to cancel your Vodafone Infinite Month to Month Plan, your MPP will auto cancel and 100% of the remaining undiscounted handset instalments will be applied to your next bill. Recurring monthly plan fee charged until the end of the month in which you cancel.

Sharing data
If you have more than one Vodafone Infinite (excluding Ultra+ Plans), Vodafone BYOD, Plus, Team, Extra Large Plan, Vodafone Large Promo, Vodafone Extra Large Promo Plan or Vodafone Infinite Data Plans on your billing account, the included data allowances on those services will automatically combine into one pool which will be shared between eligible users. Data capped at speeds up to 1.5, 2, 10 or 25Mbps is not shareable. Data sharing is only available for up to 10 services. The data included in any other plan on your account which is not a Vodafone Infinite (excluding Ultra+ Plans), Vodafone BYOD, Plus, Team, Extra Large Plan, Vodafone Large Promo, Vodafone Extra Large Promo Plan or Vodafone Infinite Data Plan is not shareable with Vodafone Infinite (excluding Ultra+ Plans), Vodafone BYOD, Plus, Team, Extra Large Plan or Vodafone Infinite Data Plans and vice versa. You can find out which plans support sharing or you can opt-out of sharing altogether at any time by calling 1555. 

Network Satisfaction Guarantee
If you’re a new customer and you’ve signed up to any new postpaid mobile, mobile broadband or Home Internet plan and you don't love our network within the first 30 days of sign-up, or in the case of a Vodafone nbn® or Vision plan within the first 30 days of service activation, you’re welcome to cancel by calling 1300 551 198 (excludes upgrades and rate plan changes). You will only have to pay for those services you’ve used or for charges incurred, that are not included in your plan, up until your number or nbn® or Vision service is fully transferred and return your device or modem and equipment in original packaging with proof of purchase returned to a Vodafone (not dealer) store within 10 days of your claim. Where you have an individual plan, you can make one claim per year per person. Where you have multiple shared plans on your account, you can make one claim in relation to each plan, for up to 10 claims per account, per year per person. Accessories not refunded. Bundle & Save - ends 16 August 2025
Bundle & Save discounts are available to (a) new customers who connect two or more Eligible Plans on the same billing account; OR (b) existing customers with an Eligible Plan who: add one or more eligible services to their billing account or who upgrade or switch an ineligible Plan to an Eligible Plan; OR (c) existing customers who have two Eligible Plans.

Eligible Plans are: All Postpaid voice plans of $30 and above released on or after July 25 2018 (excluding Assured Plan, Business Flex Plans, BYOD Plans, Extra Large Plans, Large Promo and Extra Large Promo Plans); Tablet Plans of $30 and above released on or after June 27 2018; Modem Plans of $20 and above released on or after July 2 2020; Vodafone Infinite Data Plans of $20 and above. Excludes nbn™ Plans, 4G Home Internet Plans and 5G Home Internet Plans.

Customers will receive a percentage discount off each Eligible Plan’s access fees (5% off two plans, 10% off three plans, 15% off four plans or 20% off five or more plans) when active on a single billing account. Note MPP, APP or Add-On fees are not discounted. The Bundle & Save discount is calculated from the first full bill cycle and updated monthly as eligible services are added or removed. Any second service discounts are replaced by the applicable Bundle & Save discount. If early exit fees apply to an Eligible Plan they are calculated using the undiscounted amount x months remaining. Bundle and Save offer change from 17 August 2025
Bundle & Save plan fee discounts are available to new or existing customers who have two or more Eligible Plans under one billing account. 

Eligible Plans are: All Postpaid voice plans of $34 and above released on or after July 25 2018 (excluding Assured Plan, Business Flex Plans, BYOD Plans, Team Plans, Promo Plans, Holding Plans, Hardship Plans, Extra Small Plan and Extra Large Plans).  

One Eligible Plan on a billing account will be recognised as the primary service and it will be undiscounted (Primary Service). Each additional Eligible Plan added on the same billing account as the Primary Service will receive a discount as follows: $5 off the monthly plan fee of the second Eligible Plan, and $15 off the monthly plan fee for each subsequent Eligible Plan up to a maximum of 10 Eligible Plans. Note: only the monthly plan fee of an Eligible Plan will be discounted as noted above, and all other charges, including but not limited to the following are not discounted via Bundle and Save, MPP, APP or any Add On (booster, packs, roaming, Numbersync). 

The Bundle & Save discount is available on a month to month basis, is calculated from the first eligible full bill cycle and updated monthly in line with the above discount structure as Eligible Plans are added or cancelled. If the Primary Service is cancelled, another Eligible Plan will automatically be allocated as the undiscounted Primary Service. If early exit fees apply to an Eligible Plan they are calculated using the undiscounted plan fee amount x months remaining, unless otherwise advised.  

This revised Bundle and Save discount is available from 17th August 2025 and will supersede any prior Bundle and Save discount construct and the two do not stack. This offer is subject to change.

$5 Roaming
Use your included data, call and text allowances in Eligible Destinations for an additional $5 per day. However data capped at speeds up to 1.5, 2, 10 or 25Mbps is not accessible while $5 Roaming. Eligible Destinations are subject to change, see current list and full details here www.vodafone.com.au/roaming. Available to eligible customers, see terms for details specific to your plan. $5 Daily Charge is in addition to minimum monthly spend.  Once your included data is exhausted, additional data will be automatically added at a charge of $5/GB ($0.005/MB) (“Additional Roaming Data”). Additional Roaming Data expires at the end of your next billing period, is shareable (excludes plans with unlimited data which do not share data) and can only be used while in Eligible Destinations. Max 90 days of use in any calendar year. Opt-out at any time, visit My Vodafone or call 1555. All roaming services are subject to network availability.

4G

5G
Vodafone’s 5G Network is progressively being rolled out to selected parts of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth. 5G approved device required, with an eligible Vodafone plan, in a Vodafone 5G Coverage area to access the 5G Network. In non-5G coverage areas, you’ll automatically switch to our 4G networks. Actual speeds vary due to location & network congestion. International minutes
Zone 1 and Zone 2 Destinations may change, see www.vodafone.com.au/idd for list of current Destinations. Calls charged in per minute increments. Excludes non-standard calls and video calls. Data on Vodafone Infinite Plans

Vodafone Infinite Plans include an included data allowance (which is data at the fastest speed the Vodafone network can deliver to you, depending on your handset and the time and place you are using data) which will be used first; thereafter data is available at speeds of up to 2Mbps until your next billing month. Tethering is permitted from your mobile phone to your other personal devices only, but must not be used in a modem or as a substitute for a home internet service. Vodafone Infinite Data Plans
Vodafone Data Plans are only available if you simultaneously purchase a modem or tablet from Vodafone under a Mobile Payment Plan (‘MPP’) of 12, 24 or 36 months duration (“Commitment Period”). For personal use by approved customers only. Inclusions expire after 1 month unless otherwise stated.

Minimum monthly spend is $20 or $40 (depending on your plan). Must connect for minimum one month. Total minimum cost is one month of your plan fees plus 100% of the MPP instalments of your chosen device. There is no Early Exit Fee on your Vodafone Infinite Data Plan, however, if you choose to cancel your Vodafone Infinite Data Plan, your MPP will also auto cancel and 100% of the remaining device instalments will be applied to your next bill. Recurring monthly plan fee charged until the end of the month in which you cancel.

Data on Vodafone Infinite Plans
No excess data charges in Australia. All data for use in Australia within the Vodafone Network coverage area. Vodafone Infinite Plans include an included data allowance (which is data at the fastest speed the Vodafone network can deliver to you, depending on your handset and the time and place you are using data) which will be used first; thereafter data is available at speeds of up to 2Mbps until your next billing month.
